He did it intending to be banned and sending a message to Niantic for never fixing such issues... the whole point was using an exploit that actual cheaters use all the time but he intentionally took ladder position 1 with it to bring publicity to it. The actual hackers never go that high so that they don't get caught. This stunt revealed what kind of exploits they secretly use.

There are better ways to report something, and sadly Niantic doesn't take intention into consideration

He isn't a cheater, he's a fed up player using an exploit to wake Niantic up. I know him IRL and what he said is entirely true.

@@Revelatus Again, I know him IRL. He *is* a fed up player who wanted to coerce Niantic to start dealing with the issues in the game, which they have ignored for a long time. He also wanted to quit the game due to Niantic not caring one bit about PVP's integrity, so getting permabanned while making a point works. He's a very helpful player who has organized the raid hours and all other events in my part of town for years, always guiding new players, has played the game for 8 years legit, and just had enough of the game constantly getting worse. Upstanding guy and a local POGO community leader, not the kind of person who would cheat just to cheat. Since Niantic don't listen to people, and he reported this exploit several times after coming across people using it and nothing was done about it in a longer time period, this was an effective way to bring Niantics attention to it. The full method of how he did it without crashing his own game is not known, so you can't make assumptions about hacks or 3rd party software. You can seethe and throw temper tantrums all you want, but he did the right thing and no harm was done. This benefits all of us in the long term if it being publicly embarrassed gets Niantic actually doing some work finally. Its totally irrelevant that some other player did not get first Legend in the season, you don't get rewarded for that, who cares. The game performing like trash and being riddled with glitches is a million times more important issue than your ranking, I simply do not care one bit what happens to your MMR, I just want GBL to be in a playable state, which it is NOT.

No, he never was. There are a handful players that cheat, and if you know how the game works, you can ez call thrm out. If you dont know how the game works, you will just blmae everyone Everytime someone uses an exploit, they get called out within 1-2 days, so plz dont exaggerate

@YasserAleed For almost 3 years now, Poké AK has perfectly broke down each and every exploits within GBL. So yes, he was right all along. I was a habitual GBL participant and it wasn't until I got to rank, I begun experiencing alot of shady gameplay such as; when I'm about to win, the game begins to lag very badly. But, when my opponent is about to win, no lag for them. Everybody in this GBL community has to call out Niantic and have them fix those problems. Simply ignoring the cheat, will only make GBL even worst than before.

@@tassarna93 Yeah cause current way gbl work cheating is very effiency, like when use and not use shield, fast move counters and so on. Thats why niantic should start add more random elements on game and that also make all cheating bit less effiency. Like i would love thy just simply adding critical hits on game what been main series since gen 1. Now its so easy call when need or not need shield. Risk of getting critical hit by opponent would make player take risk losing pokemon if not use protect even you can tank normal hit.. So instead trust program calculate full dmg and do decision for you, even knowing regular dmg it still force player call risk of critical hit

@Pateriek bud look at the best players win rates. Theres a reason why literally all of the literal best players have at most a 60 percent win rate across the board. Theres not one with a 70 or 80 percent win rate. You've seriously never noticed that the game tries to keep you progressing slowly over time. Or even when you switch teams and or mons you were getting literally constantly suddenly disappear. Funny how on the Matchmaking site homeslice henry uses he has an 80 percent win rate against comp players but on gbl he has around a 55 to 60 percent win rate.

@@dennisreynolds1503 Best players in the world know how to count, play each matchup and predict teams has nothing to do with "the algorithm". And so what that Henry has a 60% win rate? That means u are consistant and lose about 2 out of 5 games. That's all u need to get better
