I think the bike course changed slightly. In this video, the picture of the route shows a short out and back segment right at mile 50. On the IM website, that little segment is not there.

Thank you so much for the info, I’m a first timer to tri and have been on an 8 month training cycle and was worried. I live in Fort Collins so the altitude isn’t an issue for me! Planning on running the course aside from the swim a few times come spring so I’m prepared this coming June.

Great video! I was curious as 2023 was a new course. I had planned to race this year but had to pull out due to injury. I was there in 2022 and it’s my favorite race!

Great advice, used many of your tips for a great day!!!, only thing I think you mentioned it, I am close to a 1:00 swimmer, next time I’m going extra early and get in the swim corral early, I was not late but not early and I had to push my way to the front, I could only make It to the 1:10 area, not the end of the world but added stress that I could have alleviated. 👍👍
