A solution to the large rotary tool might be a smaller nail dremel. It's essentially the same thing but smaller, with a bit less power, and more pointed/precise tips. I've been pretty happy with mine.

I love her! I really like her lips. I laughed out loud twice in this video - very rare for me! First was when you refused to spend anymore money on epoxy or supplies on her. Second was "damage control" 😂

I think you did a really good job on your Mini Not Me. The carving looks quite subtle on the face, even the lips which are fuller have a great shape but don't look over done. Really like the eye chips that you used too - I thought that the black ones might look a bit much but they actually really suit her. The main thing that I've noticed with people and their mini mes is that they NEVER look alike.

I love her! Good job! For product - I am using a very diluted Got2BGlued - just about the size of a bean blob and about 1/4 cup water - mixed well and I have in a small squeeze bottle (like travel shampoo size).

The idea of face carving terrifies me. I stress out enough even trying to open the Blythe heads as I'm always convinced I'm going to break them. Simone does look a lot more natural after the redo so it's great that you were able to dial her face back a bit. The "gagging" Pixling reminds me of the cat coughing meme, so maybe it's their homage to that?

You can replace her faceplate with a shiny one - I did that with my dark tanned girl. I kept mine shiny, but if you want her matte, you can spray with MSC.

The age old battle between collector and pullip stand 😂 it took me a very long time to realize the feet go behind the line 🙈 I love this pullip and her bright colors and love all the outfit swaps.

I don't have a Pullip, but there was one that I've been keeping my eye on, I just don't know if I want to fall down into another doll rabbit hole at the moment. I liked the fact that when Matt was opening her she was winking to the camera! Also the Pullip bodies seem really skinny, I'd be worried about breaking them I think.

It's definitely stressful trying to not mess them up when you have already put so much work into them! I tend to prefer carving over painting. So we're opposites! The knee joint hack sounds awesome! But definitely tricky. I love your new customizations to your Blythe! And good luck with the color fading, I hope you find an easy solution... 😬

I have 2 pixlings so far (Deerly and one of the fairies). I think they are adorable but the bloody potion bottles put me off buying more. I opened them without using the gimmick so I will give the bottles and potion kits to the charity shop. 2 Pixlings are enough for me right now. I admit I would prefer to buy them second hand without the bottle if I happen to adopt more!

I feel cheated, I was hoping for some proper swearing and there was hardly any! I feel like the "unboxings" of these are so over the top, but I guess it's part of the gimmick and I'm sure kids love them. If it was me I would be tempted just to unscrew the top and avoid the whole water/liquid stuff which never goes well imo. As for the Pixlings themselves, I am trying not to get any because I don't need another doll line in my life, but I do really like Catlyn and the one who looks like a deer from the first wave of dolls.

I loved this, as you know lol. Yay for the excitement of more 😂 For the bottles, I’ve seen people turn them into like led light lamps with loads of them bundled in. There’s a few quirky ways to utilise them. I’ll be parting with mine, but I do think there’s potential there. It’s so fun to unpack, but I do have the level of waste after. Still, let me know if you do get creative with yours 😻 I’ll ping you some of the examples I’ve seen later.

I've just thrown away the containers the Pixlings come in. It always makes me feel like a jerk, but they take up so much space and I can't find a use for them. I'm interested in getting Catlin and Bearlinda, except that Bearlinda isn't out yet.

Wow, those Twilight dolls are so cool! Especially the Alice one. Coquette Lumiere is lovely also but I am similar to you in a sense that I prefer dolls with dark hair. Unfortunately, Blythe don't seem to release them as often as light haired dolls which is a pity. Thank you for sharing this doll update! 🎀✨
