That was awesome and very nicely done by both of you, Diana and Tommy. The only other version of this song that I heard when growing up that sounded as good as this, was on an old compilation cassette tape called, "Ulster My Home" the song, Fields of Ulster was performed by Scott Rowland and was recorded at White Mountain Music in Belfast.

My mum tried to get me to join an accordion band years ago and I said no, one thing I've always regretted.

Nice to meet you face to face, folks:-) Without you knowing it you have been one of my favourite accordeon bands for quite some time now.Usually I see you marching and playing, but this short face to face encounter is very pleasant. You don't see me, so I will introduce myself to you: I am a retired Dutch teacher who lives in Germany now. I LOVE the Uk. Since 1977 my family has regularly visited this wonderful country and one of my children even lives there with his family now. We have never been to Ulster, but seeing all the nice accordeon bands there hear the hymns that you play put your area in the picture alright.. Just keep playing, remain part of the UK and stay in GOOD health. God bless you :-)
