The money making world can burn folks out, any industry, any career, and the younger a person gets involved, I suppose the more likely they will get burned out, but that's arguable with so many adults hopping from one industry to another and so quickly getting burned out with each one. Probably a solution that would help young folks is to allow a parents to interview the employers for all youths (up to age 24). That way, it's not a one way power deal with the big cheeses asking the little begger employers how hard they're will to work if they get the job. With the new youth protection laws, I'm imagining parents being able to see the break rooms, rest rooms, interview the bosses, managers etc., before their child gets stuck in a burnout profession. Alternatively, governments could set up hiring agencies that identify qualified laborers for specific job types, and the businesses could just pay a tax and ask the agency, "I need two more such and such laborers for my business" then the agency could send them over along with their parents and interview the bosses for the job. This would help eliminate a lot of abuse that so many youths must endure. All too often businesses aren't looking for simply a qualified employee, but they use illegal practices to discriminate on various levels. So my idea would help protect all youths. Jack may be a perfect example of why singers, especially males, should not be permitted to compete in singing competitions until after their voices change after puberty. He had an amazing voice when he won, but his voice completely changed as he aged. Still a good voice, but not the same that made many fall in love with him and vote. Similar happened to Billy Gilman who didn't win a competition but was adored as a young country artist. His voice changed, not as drastically as Jack's, and his popularity waned.
