She got her 🌟 on the walk of fame the year I was born.

30:21 30:31 Why wouldn't she shut the car off, or back up smash the door? Her teeth were missing. Sounds more like she was beat to death in the garage, someone turned the car on, and shut the garage door.

What a shame. Poor woman. It seems suspicious. Having the same clothes on from December 14th (my birthday) until the 16th. Had no qualms about breaking the window in her apt? Well, how did she get there every night if she didn't like climbing the stairs? No heat in the car, but running it with the garage door closed (carbon monoxide). A guy went miles away to call police, when there was a phone there? 🤔 Her poor mother, loses her little boy, husband and daughter. Now she's alone.

A terrific documentary. I need to re-watch the films now. BTW, can you NOT say "casted"? It's always "cast", past, present and future tense.

I have done a bit of my own research to compile an excel spreadsheet of all the star actors and actresses I could find from the Hollywood Golden Age - still ongoing I guess. I had not heard of Madge before, so thanks. Also great work by you, an impressive amount of proper research.

I appreciate your in depth research. I love how you bring to life so many of the old stars many of whom have had great talents for only a few years and capture them as individuals and the time period and limitations the had to overcome to in their lives. Very comprehensive. Much appreciated. Keep up the excellent work. I'm hooked. ✌🏼❤️☺️

Her esteem was really low. Maybe she is a narcissist. You can’t blame your parents for how you turn out. I thought she was a great actress and she let herself be used by men. Not realizing they only were after her money. Her decisions were wild too. She should have chosen just the opposite.

I have never heard of her. I do like the old silent movie era and read (BOOKS) about it, just found my Chaplin autobiography to read again. I lived in LA LA LAND and when I read about old houses or studios lots, getting the wrecking ball, it breaks my heart. I really appreciate your deep research and disclaimers, no fake news. (Not helicopter parent) They're Stage Mother's, back then, mom stood in the wings of stage and told child, " smile, stand up straight.... oooh the director's hated them. Fantastic job 👍👍

You know, I never thought that Norma wasn't a talented and beautiful person. The fact that she ended up in the right place (MGM) under the best possible management (yes, her husband Irving Thalberg) has never detracted from that. BTW, Shearer vs. Crawford was for all intents and purposes the original Jolie vs. Aniston of the sound era (as the 1939 classic The Women, which cannily plays to both actresses' strengths brilliantly [even as Rosalind Russell almost steals the picture away] bears out).

An honest and frank look at a true Hollywood legend, who seemingly led a somewhat reckless life, which caught up with her at far too young an age. I believe 'The Ice Cream Blonde' still would have met an untimely demise - in a similar descent to Jeanne Eagels' - if she hadn't died the way she did. Thelma's and Jean Harlow's stories are among the most poignant of the blonde sex symbol tragedies perhaps primarily because they were both regarded highly as genuinely kindhearted individuals. I'm looking forward to the next installment. 👌👍💖

Outra coisa que me irrita é mania de se abreviar tudo. Ou colocar letras dos nomes e punto. Meus pais me deram dois nomes que eu gosto muito. Não mederam nome avreviado como MJS. Ou qualquer abreviação irritante.
