Do you know how to get the assist lights to function with Forza Motorsport? The shift lights on the wheel work so I know it's getting data, but the lights wont flash when I have ABS/Lockup in the game.

I'm finding I'm fastest around 5 to 8nm under competative play but I swear to god it's because my simagic ultimate is stronger then it says at that nm. Ain't no damn way this thing at 8nm is actually 8nm. I have a dd+ if I use it at 50% it feels half as strong as this. I believe simagics software works different then peolle think. I think the ffb slider wokrs much more poerr then the nm slider does. I feel that's only for peaks but rhw actual ffb slider is for holding torque and or poerr and the amount of ffb coning through becausw I can turn that slider to 90% and leave it at 8nm and it feels like 15nm lol. So I turn it down to like 5nm when racing comp or 8nm and the ffb slider at 50% . Like I'm watching you use 10nm and it's like what my wheelbase does at 8nm at 50% ffb. I don't get it haha. But hey more power is fine with me. Gives me more headroom using it lower. Tbh most people woupd love 6nm and probably don't even realize it. But testing it on these bases with bigger motors is never the same. They always feel stronger even at the same set ffb because it's as if the motor pull is heavier which makes sense the mahnets are usually bigger. I just don't think these strong motor wheelbases are good at translating less ffb they always seem stronger regardless of where you put it. Think about the 6nm you did it still had some fight to it lol. Even 3 had a nice amount when you would hit the edge of grip with weight transfer. Not like a nornal 3nm wheelbase which feels way to easy to push through. Listen finding the right settings is tough but you should be able to push through the limit of grip as in past it if yoyr wheelbase isn't letting you do that then you have it to high ive found. And asetek imo on acc has to tight of a feeling when turning in to a certain point it's way to heavy there. It shouldn't be that way imo. It's why I didn't enjoy ssetek on acc. I want to be able to feel that edge of grip and know if I neeed to I can push past it and get that back end to kick mid corner even. Not so tight that it feels like a brick is stopping you from turning. I love simagic because you feel the loading and unloading so we'll ans every point of where the tires and suspension are. 😊

Nice! Its not gonna feel as tight as the asetek in acc. Tbh the asetek is to tight. You know that feeling when turning in where its like there is a brick wall stopping you? Yeah thats not normal asetek is the only wheelbase to feel that way in acc imo. You should be able to pusb past the limits of grip even when turning in with the wheel. Should feel that full loading and unloading and then that kick not just a brick wall. It should feel fluid and reaactive and again it shoupd never get so tight that you cant turn in. Its the heaviest feeling wheelbase ive used in acc. Even simucube doesnt feel that way. Its def software related because 3 other reviewers also broufht up it feels awkward with its turn in once you get to a point it just feels to weighty no natter what you do unless you put it to 3nm lol. Hope you enjoy the simagic its my favorite for suspension feel/unloading and loading of the car and that fine edge of grip at all times. Not jusy done with weight like the asetek but actually done by feel and slip and the wheelbase just letting you do what you need to for corrections. Also it's snap is incredibly fast! Best ever for catching slides you will see. It's def gonna surprise you. There really is a magical feel to the suspension with simagic. @@SimracingPC

@@reviewforthetube6485 You can pretty much adjust the feeling with the settings to anything you want. I would not describe the feeling of the Asetek base in that way

@SimracingPC I mean it is. Pretty much every review has said the same thing in acx with asetek. It feels weird. It has to much weight. The loading doesn't like the unload and you can't push through it when you have it srt to a reasonable ffb. Even if you adjust the settings it still feels to stiff. It's only in acc that it does that though which is why I believe its software based. Only time you can push through the limit is set to like 3nm lol maybe 5nm.

I'm not sure how to measure what actual nm I am using on my Clubsport 2.5 wheelbase but given I don't run it at its maximum it probably wouldn't be much more than 6 - 7 nm. Whatever it is, it feels heavier than my road car if I am driving a simulated touring car at pace car speeds. Obviously once at an actual race pace it becomes much lighter. I certainly would not want a wheel with more torque though. Even as it is if a competitor hits my car I get an unpleasant jolt and on the (thankfully) very rare occasions I am a complete passenger headed off the track towards something hard, I absolutely either take my hands off the wheel or if there is time (during that long slide where anything I try to do is useless) I will change to a preset with zero force feedback. For me anything more powerful would literally be a health hazard!

At first i was skeptical now i want them badly. I can use them without a moza rig right? Like not some proprietary system? Just making sure. These seem like the perfect kit for trail braking. I love a hit of travel and for that level of control.

If yall notice his projected laptime was better the entire time on the 5nm he was able to push the limits on turn in better. Its also why i use my high nm base at lower settings. Still gives me plenty of forces with the stronger motor, the snap, edge of grip loading and umloading on corners etc. He was able to turn in more and faster and able to push past that limit of grip if needed to get that bit more of turn in. When forces are high and you do that you lose traction easier from my testing. Peoope go oh lighter is understearry no turning in more and the car turning the entire time isnt understeer. Undrr steer is when you are turning in and the car doesnt want to. Its not when the car is turning in perfetly with you. If anything the heavier wheels had more undrrsteer even if he wasnt turning in as much because when he would go past that limit the grip would loosen a bit more so he physically couldnt turn in more aggresively. The point is he could place the car where he wanted and needed to better and faster due to being abpe to control the actual movement more. You sre physically able to feel the edge of grip more because all of that extra eeight isnt overwhelming the actual tire feel.

The predicted lap time was lower because of the order of the laps, i guess i drove the 5NM lap last. I am fastest around 8-12Nm depending on the wheel / car / sim.

@@SimracingPC I do think 8 to 12nm is the sweet spit anymore then that and it hurts you. But I still beleive 8 to 12nm on a 20nm base feels better then an 8 to 12nm base. So the benefits are there. The speed, response, snap and just feeling of torque in the instances when needed is just better. So believe me I'm not stating that torque doesn't hsve benefits because it does. I've found I drive fastest around 8-10nm. I can feel the edge of grip, can push further while turning in and can even push past the limit to just lesrn and find My edge. I believe we should be finding the limit and edge of grip not jsut the center forces of our wheels. Helps you with control and undrrstand the car for sure.

Proud owner of the new dd+ just a beast of a base even better then the dd1 was after all the updates so imagine a year from now? Like its insanely good. Im surprised seeing all of that detail in the dd1/dd2 pretty good. Fanatec has really gotten down that center torque feel also which helos control ans edge of grip feeling also feels less understeery.

It is amazing wheel, i tested my friends! Saving money for usb version! Rock solid, in reality it looks way better and feels sturdy, ergonomic are perfect and i tried a lot wheels! You can drive wirh or with out gloves!
