I swear every now and then this scene pops randomly into my head and I blurt out "the-Ombudsman's-coming-to-get-you" without thinking, to the confusion of any non-Peep Show fans in the room...

I just used the ombudsman to refund all the interest on sub-prime car finance from 7 years ago which should have never lent to me. The ombudsman came to get them!

I've just sent an application in to the Ombudsman, to finally try to resolve my unique and crazy case with the National Lottery. I really do hope they're successful in helping me. Big, important changes are afoot, if so. A nightmare ahead, if not so.

Let me guess, 5 months on its a bust? From my experience the ombudsman are the worst most useless dishonest public servants you can imagine

Please provide an update, I am weirdly invested in this comment. Did the Ombudsman come for the those damn lottery losers?
@PEGGLORE6 ай бұрын
@@ukmapper9997 Ombudsman never got back to me. Various solicitors are all useless too. Too pussy to take on my case, which I'd easily win if I could get them in court. Written an entire book of over 555 different reasons why I need to be compensated for my position. Gonna try Richard Curtis and J.K Rowling's agents soon. They'd like to be the heroes maybe. We share this crazy Synchronicity and be good for my book if they're the heroes at the end of it. Will be asking Deborah Meaden of Dragon's Den if she may try to make my genius product ideas become a reality for me as well, if nothing else, and get money that way instead. So hopefully something positive could come from these. Update you later.

@ALoneWoIf8 ай бұрын
I think they're just Gildan t-shirts with a custom design printed on them. I can't remember which episode it is because I haven't watched PS for ages, but I definitely recall spotting a Gildan tag on one episode.

Extra funny for Swedes, as it is a Swedish word. Always wondered why it was borrowed, as "proxy" seems to mean the same thing as the Swedish word. But this video clarifies a bit how it is probably used in GB anyway.
