Imagine if there was a convergently evolved homonid that was a perfect human mimic externally and behaviourally, but was sexually incompatible and had a cloaca in their pants and could echolocate in the dark.

I saw one in west-central Indiana one winter and the Indiana Audubon Society said I saw a Red-Tailed. Only thing was, I had seen hundreds of Red-Tails all my life and this bird has the rusty colored upper wings and a pale tail, almost white. Then later I found out they often wander further south and east in the winter and it was January. The way it flew low to the ground like it was floating was also not like a red-tailed hawk. Very slow flap and under the same conditions, red-tails flap three or four times very quickly, glide a few seconds and then repeat. Also looked slightly bigger than a red-tail.

I just adopted another male. Kept iguanas for 30 years and never looked back. I agree, though, one needs to do a lot of research and ideally talk to seasoned keepers as they can turn into dangerous weapons when in mating season and they can just switch from sweet to aggressive over night. Been there, got the t-shirt. 10 years of pure horror, but it was worth it in the end. Sadly died this year aged 19 and he was my best friend in the end. Miss him

Hello from Lagos Nigeria! My students just finished watching this video and have some questions: 1) What is the population of the African Crested Porcupine in Africa? 2) Are there any of these porcupines in Nigeria? 3) Do they have healthy habits and good hygiene? 4) How fast do they run? 5) What is a common ancestor of the porcupine? Thank you in advance for answering our questions. Y4 Students

Up to Canada? But how far into Canada? Also it's a good opportunity to mention why handling them is a bad idea, when you said to not pick them up, due to toxins in our skin that could make them sick (aka why you're wearing gloves), not just saying it's because they're "an awesome North American Species".

While acknowledging that I am not a professional and this man is, I feel the arrogant need to question some of the statements. In what parts of Europe have red fox populations been "hunted to near extinction," and are those instances noteworthy enough to merit any conclusions or comparisons concerning the rest of the world? Can anyone cite instances of foxes curling up for camouflage rather than merely to sleep/conserve body heat?
@TheWildSidewithClay5 ай бұрын
@@danielstreeter6738 typically when wildlife of a certain predatory vulnerability asleep, they are doing so in a camouflaged state. Like a fox curling up. During these hunts wildlife will seek their shelter and conceal themselves the way they see fit. Just my experience, but maybe there are PH D papers that state otherwise I have not encountered.
