It was my first time and sadly the last time. Went there espacially for Arena and Pendragon. Meeting Clive Nolan at the hotel and listening to some of his new music was great. Allmost all of the bands I found were great, but hightlights for me were Arena, Pendragon, Steve Hackett and Steve Rothery. And like I said to Winfried the weather knew it was the last time, a few teardrops on the afternoon and fully crying on the last act. Hopefully I find another festival like this , or it will make a restart. Nice video.

One of the songs I wrote many years ago. It concerns an RTA that, in fact, only nearly happened. Being buried alive is, of course, everyone's fear. If you have been buried alive I apologise if this has brought back bad memories. Please let me know your thoughts about this song.

A great festival in a beautiful place. I did it a few years ago when Steve Hackett was one of the headliners, walking up the cliff side nearly killed me in 34 degrees heat. I will never forget the weekend, it was magical. Best festival experience for me though was Copenhagen Psych Fest held in Christiania 2016 I think, although all psych, no prog. Thanks for sharing.

He's on the curb so unless you're planning on mounting the curb what's the issue? Good job there wasn't a car coming the other way when you swerved over because of someone walking on the curb 😳

They're walking on a public footpath, why should they expect a car to hit them and plan their lives and clothing choices around avoiding cars... on pedestrian walkways? The car would have to intentionally leave the road before there were any issue here, and that would be the fault of the driver, not the pedestrian, who is staying well out of the way of the roadway.

It is, of course, an individual's decision as to whether to protect themselves on highways by making themselves visible during the dark hours. At some stage a darkly clad walker may suddenly decide to cross a road in front of a quiet battery driven car. This might not ever happen, of course. If we follow your argument perhaps cars should not be legally required to employ headlights? The plan is, surely, to save lives?

They're on the footpath, they shouldn't need to be wearing anything reflective. The only thing of note, is that the driver didn't notice their reflective shoes, and swerved at the last second thinking because they got startled.

Whole host of info here. I don’t know whose wedding it was, perhaps Ros Little may know. I took some of the footage…. You can tell the bits with zoom use and upside down. Featured are; Elizabeth Thompson (my grandma), Jean Hughes with Goeffrey. George Hamer (dad) and Barnie Hughes (uncle) Aunties Annie, Maggie, Hilda. Groom and bride…. Please help me out here this is probably late 1966? Me in green jacket with many wedding goers that I don’t recognise. Pauline Hughes and others picking up pennies. Dad’s old Consul (UGO251) at that time belonging to Barnie. Winney and George Hamer (Mum and Dad) Dad, Jean and Mum Elizabeth and William Thompson (grandma and grandad) opposite Samples and about to enter 1 North St. Pauline and myself larking around at tennis. Pauline giggling. Jean and Trudie, our dog. Jean playing tennis. Riley, 4068 SM. Me playing dangerously with our tortoise with grandad’s Harry Lauder stick. Still prized possession. (The stick, not the tortoise). Dad, grandad (in boiler jacket) and, I think, Barnie examining Riley. Shots of 1 North Street along with Handley’s farm with dad and Edwin? Looking over gate.

The full CCTV shows this guy passed by the shop, looking in, then turned around and entered because he thought it was empty. He was surprised to see me at the desk on the telephone. He continued to the end of the shop and I heard him going downstairs to the basement remnant room. I carried on working and, unusually, did not hear him coming back up the stairs. He must have entered the kitchen at the end of the shop and taken my phone from where it was on charge. The rest is him pretending interest in flooring and claiming he needed to go next door. (There is a works agency next door in clipped English). Next you see me go to the kitchen to look at my phone which had alerted me to a message by beeping some minutes before. I then return to the desk, slightly confused, before it dawns on me what has happened. I go outside to see if I can find the guy then return to call my own phone. It rings for a while then is, I assume, turned off. I then go and fetch Dave from upstairs so I can check at the agency. The perp was of Eastern European origin and had unusual sideboards that formed an unusually long "v". I really don't care about the phone. I was almost due an upgrade anyway and now have it. Nevertheless I spent hours and hours on the phone to my providers and hours changing all my passwords. Also three days without a phone. Chances are this scumbag chucked the phone when the screen went black on him but I don't know this for sure. Its possible some other pariah has access and this bugs me. If you recognise this nasty piece of work let me know or phone the police.
