Moving on from survival mode: When I was much involved in the 'user movement' in mental health (23 years ago) there were some people who, rather than being thought of as 'service users' wanted to be thought of as 'survivors'. Personally, I didn't want to be 'a survivor', I recognised how my powerful survival instinct had kept me going through one crisis after another, but I really didn't want to spend my life reeling from one crisis to the next - I wanted to be someone who *had* survived, and had now moved on.

the reason your carrots went black is that potatoes produce ethylene, and carrots are sensitive to it.. They can be stored together in the same root cellar, but not close together, since the ethylene coming from the potatoes hurts the carrots.. they need some distance between them.. maybe bury another one and use one for ethylene producers and one for things that are ethylene sensitive

Hi Si, i watched your freezer/ fridge video - really good vid thanks. Wanted to talk inverters!... ive tried running a 35L desk top freezer on my victron pheonix pure sine wave 375w inverter which on start up cuts the inverter out straight away but after about 10 secs the inverter powers back up and runs the freezer (fridge).... but, that means i lose all power to my place for those 10 seconds - i tried looking for a Sailflo inverter but amazon dont have them anymore... could you recommend another inverter or could the fridge work on a 600w victron PSW inverter???
@AhimsaFoodForest3 жыл бұрын
Hi, we ran the system on a 1000w inverter. That one was just the cheapest at the time. I have to admit we are having problems ourselves now, I'm pretty sure its our battery that has lived its life. We're offgrid in Portugal and even here we get prolonged cloud in parts of winter and that eventually takes its toll on the battery. It was a great cheap solution for us with the battery continually getting topped up while driving but being static we are now much more reliant on the sun.
@jastrees3 жыл бұрын
@@AhimsaFoodForest i used to have the same issue here with living in my yurt, my panels would only catch 4-5 hours of sun because of where i was positioned, so would have to top up with a generator most days especially in the winter. - its a bit better now with 2 more (and better) panels and have moved across the valley to a sunnier position. Being static was the main reason i went with a victron 300w inverter but even that, with all its german engineering, on standby draws 6w. Found a great thread on a T4 forum that really goes into the whole 240v vs 12v fridge thing - www.vwt4forum.co.uk/threads/home-fridge-in-camper.1359314/page-3 - turns out a 240v Inventor 93L fridge only draws 65w where as the 35L table top freezer ive bought draws 100w, so i'll probably change that over when i can afford too and upgrade my inverter to a 400w victron at the same time - been off grid for over 20 years now and still every day's a learning day!

Hi Natasha Thank you for your excellent explanation of Ho'oponopono. I have been practicing since January 2021 found it very helpful to be in control of my mind now as i think negative thought patterns alot. I am curious about a person named Michael Micklei he has a book called Coronation of consciousness and states that Dr Hew Len's 4 phrases is not the real techniques practiced by Morhna Simeona. Please could you help me to put my mind to rest and clarify why is he saying this, as i need to know the Truth which way to go forward with Ho'oponopono. Thank you.
@AhimsaFoodForest3 жыл бұрын
Dr Hew Len was Morrnahs apprentice and they worked together for many years. There are videos of them together and it was Morrnah who invented SITH Ho'oponopono not Dr Hew Len. Dr Hew Len taught the basics to Dr Joe Vitale through At Zero etc. These words were his shorter version. He did teach the longer version which is only available through SiTH classes. I have participated in SITH classes and I have read some of Michael's writing and my gut says it doesn't resonate with me. Also when one person says something about another it makes me wonder how much truth is there in what is said and who gains what from the actions taken. There is so much contradictory information, the best guidance I can give, is what Dr HewLen says, you clean on the information given and keep cleaning. Feel into what is right for you.

@@AhimsaFoodForest Hi Thank you so much for your reply. My gut feelings feel good about Dr Hew Lens videos and talks he is very clear and to the point on how the mind works. I will keep focusing on the 4 phrases every day as it is working for me. Also just a quick question about the 5th phrase ref Joe Vitale book i got. Could you please clarify the difference on; Please forgive me & I forgive my self. Can i also say all 5 phrases together ? Thank you.

I reported a sighting of two pumas lying at the side of the road grooming each other on the road from East Kilbride to Ayrshire. They weren't phased by the car coming towards them at all. I slowed down to look and could see their full face features in the headlights. It was around 4am and a dual carriageway so I was unable to turn around and go back. Nobody got back to me at all on the report. It was very close to a farm and some properties too.
