Epic sail underway, dramatic viewing! Great catch on the rod to lift the spirits. Nice of you to extend a hand to those distressed finches... getting along so well. Wonderful visit again from the dolphin friends. But, it's plain that exhaustion is setting in, as conditions worsen. Battling to stay on course! Suspense again for part three, though we know of course that you made it. Love ya.

Lots of ups and downs during this part of the passage. After around 3-4 day of being at sea is when usually we all settle in to the routine and coping with adversity is easier to deal with.. Tricky weather and some extreme conditions can be uncomfortable at the time but I feel it really made us stronger as a crew. A tough passage but great learning experience. Thank you Frank for following us along I feel like your a land based crew member. 😀 ❤️

What an insane and unique experience!! Question- what’s the most challenging part of it all? 🧐
@motherloadsailing6 сағат бұрын
Thanks slotvides 😀. It's always an adventure exploring the oceans but sharing the experience with our boys really makes it worth it. It obviously can get crazy at times with 5 energetic boys on a small boat but we manage the chaos. When it comes down to it everyone comes together as a team and pulls together. I would have to say the hardest part about it is actually just dealing with messes and getting the kids to pick up after themselves not the sailing or the compromises of living on a boat. Thanks for watching ❤️

@@motherloadsailing I have 4 brothers so I feel your pain! 3 tips from a son would be… 1. Allowance/reward 2. Nothing helps! 3. Delegate to each child’s strengths and likes 👍🏻 Maybe it’ll be like the country songs say though… you’re gonna miss this! 😉

@ absolutely! It’s ironic that my mum worked for an old lady when I was a teenager. And during the summer holiday my little brother (rip) and I would pick her up. And that old lady would know so much about everything. And I asked her as 15-16 year old: “you must have traveled a lot”. She was obviously sad and my mum threw me one of those “mum looks”. She said: “I worked my whole life saving every penny. 4 months before I retired I got crippling rheumatism, not being able to move a lot. So I travel be reading all those books. I want you boys to live now and not postpone it till later on.” Here I am at 51 battling a nasty auto immune disorder that keeps my from traveling-or even work a lot, which as a freelancer is quite challenging. But luckily I and my little brother before he passed did live and explore a lot of the world. I hope that at some point my immune system will settle down again and that I can travel. Or perhaps even sell all my belongings but a small camper and explore our great Europe-which I ironically didn’t see that much of yet, except of pretty much every major airport when I worked for KLM-Cargo as a subcontractor 🤣

Yes Frank the weather was testing but it could always be worse and it's a tricky time of year. I think as a crew we all are better from it. Wildlife encounters always are morale booster. There's a cool backstory to the finches in the next episode. As always appreciate you following our journey Frank. ❤️😀❤️

Like many people in the last 5 days, KZbin has recommended your channel through Episode 80. Notice that the more grounded real-life thumbnail you used, has generated many more views than the personal style Instagram shots used repeatedly in the past. If you featured your family and what they are doing in the thumbnails, I would predict you'll get better channel growth and engagement. You've got great boys and a husband - bring them forward and take a back seat for a while and see what happens. Peace 💜

Hi I just found you and with 5 boys you really are brave changing your life. So I wonder...do you have a plan to sail for a number of years, and although idont know your children's ages, will you get them back to school at a set time, or do self learning? I am an avid fan of SLV and others sailing, as I see parts of the world landlovers don't see
@motherloadsailing12 күн бұрын
Hi Harry😀 First thanks for watching much appreciated. We do plan on sailing for as long as possible with aspirations to circumnavigate. The kids have no desire to return to land life and are homeschooled. kids are 3,5,10,12,14. all boys. Hope you tune in next week for more shenanigans.❤️
