I just got the MODX8 and I also have an MPC X and I was just about to link both of them .. good video .. very motivating.. is the MPC hooked up directly to the Yamaha via the USB or did you use the traditional midi cables to link them both? 🤔🎹🎹🖥

Thanks for watching! Congrats on getting the modx it’s an awesome keyboard! Works well with MPC x Ableton and Logic Pro. I have both the modx and the MPC hooked up to the computer through usb.

I just picked up a MPC 1000 and I scored a MPC 4000 for 900 bucks today via guitar center... and thanks I appreciate it.. I will be leaning as much as I can on that 4000 making up for lost time as a producer being a mix engineer for years prior to 2020 haha .. salute

I have ableton that I never used from being spoiled using the MPC software... right now I have my MPC X and Modx8 on a PC with a focusrite 18i20 so I will be getting into that setup as my hybrid the 4000 will be my analog setup dawless..
