I respectfully disagree. I know current LCI G80/G82 owners who wish they could go back to their older interiors.

I'm not sure how much rev-hang the F80s have. Probably similar, if I had to guess. And this entire front bumper is Adro.

Hello! About 2 weeks ago, I bought a 2023 M4 6 sp manual in Portimao Blue. I absolutely love the car. It is more eye catching than my E46 M3, in my opinion. Even the grill does not phase me. This car just does not present well in pictures and media print. When you're actually next to it, it is somewhat beautiful in the way the whole car is sculpted. It is unlike most any car. It's just fabulous when you see it in person.

The secret apparently is to delete the pressure control valve from your clutch lining. Ive had an f80 with a manual and it drove exactly the same way. Interestingly so did my old e90 sedans 328i. I do still have an e92 m3 that is actually a dct. So, with that being said i love my g80 thus far! If i could go to a porsche gt3 i would, but my funds wont allow me lol.

Removing the CDV is generally a good idea, but it has nothing to do with reducing rev hang. That is in the software as an emission reduction technique to reduce a miniscule amount of unburned hydrocarbon going into the exhaust. Obviously Porsche takes a different (better) approach. The first thing I would do on these cars is have the rev hang removed from the factory tune. It would also get a lighter, single mass flywheel and better feeling clutch to bring back some liveliness to the driveline. Old school is definitely better in this regard.

We're not exactly sure how many Japan Red cars were built for E46 M3s. But some quick Googling states that E46 3-series, in general, had less than 150 Japan Reds. We believe it's less than 15 for M3s.

Every statement of reviewer is full of contradictions. It took me a couple of drives to get the hang d 1-2 shift. Lots of BS here.
@lockingdiff2 ай бұрын
Explain the contradictions? This is a universally derided issue with this gearbox. I can also get a smooth 1-2 shift...if I shifted at like 12MPH and wait 3 seconds for the revs to drop. Where as in my new 911 I can 1-2 shift whenever I want and not wait an eternity for the rev-hang.

I bought a nice spec 488GTB last week but my journey started with searching for a nice 458. With the pricing overlap and my older eyes (40) having more time to really appreciate the 488 that I always kinda just brushed off, I came to the realization it was the car to buy, not the 458. I've owned Ferrari, McLaren and Lamborghini but I'm back in a Ferrari and loving it! Great video!
@lockingdiff2 ай бұрын
@nfareview Hard to go wrong with either. The 488 is more refined, for sure. And looks better, too. The 458 has the noise, though.

@lockingdiff3 ай бұрын
Indeed. In a past video, we covered why 360s can misfire, and it's because of poor seals around coilpacks that allow water intrusion. One of our coils looked brown, and the spark plugs that sat in that bank were in disgusting, rusty shape.
