Why didn't you just jump across the solenoid with a screwdriver. That way you could have found out if it was bad or not without taking it off.

Haha good shit 👍🏻 Anything under a 5 pounder is pretty much a dink. Ever tried the public stocked pond at the bass conservation center south of Clermont?

15:10 cute little ring neck snake. Nearly gave me ptsd for good when I was attacked by a big ol 5+ ft fat cottonmouth in march nearly a few years ago xD (cypress creek swamp area, shouldn't have been going in a big swamp like that during their mating season, but live and ya learn. Thankfully only got my pant leg, super stealthy strike, got the h3LL outta there) Was expecting one of those, & remember small mocassins are kind of orangish, only seen one in North FL once. Can tell they are a water mocassin aka cottonmouth by the broad flat head and white stripe by their eye (but don't try killing them, NOT making nature any safer for people, they deserve to exist, and only putting one's self in harm's way) edit: and for those who don't think 5 ft mocassins exist, see this video. Same general area too kzbin.infoYTajSR2BJyM

When adding an aerator, you cannot leave it on 24/7 when you're first starting out on an established lake...you do little at a time each day.. 15 mins first day, 30, second day, 60 next day, 120, etc.. Otherwise, you're causing a temperature turn over which sends low oxygen water to the top and brings muck into the top water and you'll kill the fish. If your aerator is pumping in well water into your pond, you must aerate the water prior to it going into your pond.
