Honestly, I'm quite impressed with the quality of the review. I'm a big fan of Optimum on YT, so my standards are high and I'm wondreing how come you have only 80 subs man, 81 now :) Hope you continue and your channel takes off!

The G pro X is much more rounded with minimal tapering, whereas this is more dynamic in its size. It also has a wider rear and lower button height.

I see you have zeromouse too there under the monitor. Mine was too awkward to use so I want to try Finalmouse and ordered M and S sizes. Razer Viper V2 was too large to my taste, so I was thinking smaller should do for me. But now after your video, I am hesitant, palm size 17.5 x 8.5cm - do you think medium would word better for my size?
@k.w5804
@k.w5804 10 ай бұрын
Do you claw grip or what? If you claw, the ULX M might be borderline proper or slightly large. S is a safer bet, and you can always claw a slightly smaller mouse (at least for me, though discomfort can kick in a little bit or quite a bit quicker). But again, if you find zeromouse too awkward, I'm not sure if you are a claw gripper.

@@k.w5804 yes, clawing usually. On zeromouse, I couldn’t get used to the empty space on right side. After one months of use my aim went down too. Thank you for the input, looks like I’ll have to try both to find out

Okay, I am not here to 100% defend everything that they do or create mistakes on. But here's my take on both sides. Reasons for some of the issues: 1.) Creating mouses with this type of tech (the type of hole design / material (with the new material being used) it should not be EXPECTED for it to not come w/ issues. 2.) They allow for refunds and returns or replacements. I bought batch 2, I was told that batch <2 all had a "sticky" residue at the bottom of the mouse where the holes are. I got a refund the same day I sent them the message. They're understandable. It's obvious they're testing it, if you don't return it but complain - you're the issue because it's as simple as going to support and asking what the process is to return it and get a refund. 3.) Mass production for this design is going to come w/ flaws. This is a new composite/material. It's a small company compared to big tech companies, sometimes it's INSANELY costly to mass produce as a test batch. They may need some funding and they may try and risk some people having issues if they can make some money (THIS DOES NOT EXCUSE THEM AT ALL). But it can be a reason. 4.) It's obvious they're trying to fine tune the productions where it has those flaws. 5.) The "wobble" of the mouse click honestly makes sense, if you have something VERY in place - it can give more "flex" zones to press. An example would be a stiff building, having a 100% stiff tower can cause more damages if you put wind/pressure on it. Giving it flex allows for longevity. My point w/ that is the fact that everywhere you press on a very stiff M1/M2. This is coming from an engineering standpoint, but I don't design mouses so I can't say if that's a make or break. A lot of people ignore that even the Logitech G Pro has movement on their M1/M2. I have 3, all 3 (2 superlights, one regular) have movement like the Finalmouse. Now, for reasons they shouldn't produce things w/ this scale of issues AND send them out without thorough testing: 1.) It's a new material, a new line for their mouse. They should've done more test batches. 2.) Send out batch 1 / 2 / 3 etc. to all Mouse enthusiasts to give opinions before ever releasing their actual mouse productions. 3.) They shouldn't have these specific issues without creating the batches. Example is like I said, 4.) Yes, for the price and the "reputation" this brand is trying to give, they shouldn't have this many issues. 5.) For 200 dollars, they should be expected to have better quality control. It takes them MONTHS to actually ship and reach people. This is sad, it's 2023 and 200 dollar products should not take months to reach you if it's produced. They give you the free shipping method from UPS and not give a free express shipping method.... This is imo the biggest issue because if I send it back because of X reason, I'm not trying to wait 1/12 or 2/12 of a year to get something they made an issue of. I will say, some people have had the "holy grail" of batch. There's one youtuber who had no gaps, no sticky residue at the bottom of their mouse, everything was perfect. Why it is not like that for every mouse? No idea considering they got batch 1-2. But, like every mouse - just keep sending it back till you get the mouse you paid for. If I get this mouse after refunding to get batch 3 and it has any defects. I am sending it back and trying again next time. Give it time, no reason to be pessimistic and saying "That's what you get for paying so much for trash," when they broke mouse standards AGAIN. New material composite, requiring no software and all of that is done on their website via XPanel. They got even lighter and they got imo the best design / ergo... Now they're one of the lowest latency mouses which is crazy for being wireless.... Do I think it can be a 140 mouse? Yes, but you're also paying for the name and honestly the aesthetic/design of the mouse. They're not a fortune 500 company, they're still a small fish in a giant pond compared to Corsair/Logitech/Razer etc. People complain about "it has some wobble" "it has some flex if you press it REALLY hard," but a lot of these same issues were on SOME of the other models of their mouses..... Yet people still have them perfectly fine while abusing it. I've has 2 Logitech G Pros that had loose batteries or some issue within 1-2 years. I had 1 Finalmouse and it has yet to hit the gutter or come close. I will say, my biggest and only REAL complaint is their pathetic excuse for a warranty. They say it's 2 years, but it is 100% limited. I've heard people saying they had to pay for shipping even though their had an issue within 1 month of receiving it, but I've heard people say they returned it within a single year and got it back basically new. But I've also had a friend who returned it to get repaired and they gave him a brand new one instead of fixing the issue (not a problem in my opinion. It's a new mouse, BUT they should've repaired that same mouse and sent that same mouse back). It also "vary by product." But like I said, abuse returning it. Abuse refunding when/how you want. But to be pessimistic on a small mouse company (easily smaller than the top mouse companies that have bigger fundings) is quite sad. If you don't want to buy it, don't.... Don't need to say "That happens when u get hyped and pay too much for trash smh 😂" when it's obvious they're not buying it to begin with.

supposedly that flexing in the top corners is "strategic flexing". I guess they made it flex in certain parts that people don't normally put their hands on to reduce weight. Besides the side flex and mouse button wobbles which can be easily fixed, its a pretty good mouse.

I know it may seam like a big issues, but compared to other QC issues people have been having, that panel gap is now considered normal (90% of the 20k mice have that panel gap). If the sides don't have any really bad flexing and if your top isn't squishy then consider your self lucky. Yes, we are talking about a 190 dollar mouse and not a 50 dollar cheap mouse.
