This voice is so off the mark for this character. The voice is pleasant and beautiful, it is pointless to even try to say something else. But this is clearly not Frieren's voice. Intonations? Yes, it's okay, i quess. Tonality - oops, it's missed. After hearing the character's voice, the thought "oh, right. It's dubbing." should not appear in your head.

She was just so happy and casual about it too, Ryuko didn't even get to defeat her and avenge her father, she just offed herself on her mother's orders as if she was ordered to make a cute little dress. So Ryuko doesn't get the revenge and satisfaction of her death at hands, Nui just robs her of it all at the end like nothing matters, not even her own life, it's freaking terrifying. Ryuko can never fully get closure because Nui was killed on her own terms and without a spare thought to her.

I speak both languages and watched both versions and I prefer English Frieren. Even if she is suppose to be an elf in her teen-ish years (for Elf standards anyways) she's definitely more mature than the average human. She can also be immature at times (hence why we love her) which shows us that she's still a young elf, but she's usually mature more times than not. And this actor does a good job at portraying her sometimes apathetic nature due to living such a life with little purpose, but just enough purpose to get by. Honestly, I get the feeling a lot of elfs are like this due to their long life spans, then you have the rare cases like Kraft who someone remained energetic. Dunno. And it wasn't until recent years that she met a group that truly changed her life (Himmel's group) and now a new group that will change her life. She's already starting to appreciate other peoples feelings and interest and all of that after thousands of years of not doing so.

Well Jun's one of very few who know Kazuya's pain, right? She's the only person besides Kazumi who may know that Kazuya never had an honest chance at a happy life.
