Glad you got this sorted out! Sadly this kind of thing happens all the time, 99+% of bans are never done by humans on the other end, just bots/crawlers/apps doing it due to the volumes. These are prone to errors as they are programmed by humans, I know that too well. I have had my FB business account locked twice, both were invalid and quickly reinstated. So don't be shocked if/when it happens again, just appeal it. :)
@tigercoward7 күн бұрын
Thanks, brother. I am not sure there is another way for them to monitor a massive platform without bots. I was taken off guard because I hadn't given it any thought before it happened. With this experience and your advice, feel more confident for next time. I am thankful that this was all resolved in 8 hours.

Wow Tiger Coward, I am so happy that you stuck it through and appealed that decision! I can't imagine if that happened to me, I would be devastated, but I'm so glad that you had the wherewithal to do what needed to be done, to fix the problem at hand instead of wallow in misery (as I'm sure I would've), and now you have your channel back! Fantastic! And it makes for a great story. Keep making incredible content! - Tim and Marisa

Thanks for your support! My channel is just a hobby for me, so the stakes are not the same as they are for others, like you. Nonetheless, it was devastating, but just for a few hours. It must be so hard to manage a platform as immense as KZbin, and I appreciate how quickly they responded.

I read a tech web article today about this. THOUSANDS of channels were taken down by faulty programming. At least the channel contents weren't deleted. Scooter Tramp Scotty had his taken down and all his content deleted, and he lost All his subscribers too. IMO KZbin doesn't give enough warning, if there is any warning at all, before deleting all a person's hard work that could span over years. Have you considered another social platform?

Great review! I'm in the market for a one piece suit and so far the big advantage I see over the Aerostich is the venting, mesh inner lining and the armor. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge & thoughts, extremely helpful!!! If you have any additional longterm takeaways, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks for watching! I will be doing an update very soon. I loved the one long zipper on the Version 1. Unfortunately, that suit leaked terribly. To their credit, KLIM replaced the suit with no hassle. Unfortunately, they only stock the V2, which has shorter zippers on each leg. It's not a show stoper for me, but it is a bit more cumbersome to take off, especially when wearing taller adventure boots. Score one for Aerostitch. I have worn the V2 for over 5,000km, and it has been great. Thanks again for watching and leaving a comment.

Looks like a beautiful run! Do you always ride to these far off destinations or do you trailer your bike sometimes?
@tigercowardАй бұрын
I always ride. Living in Central Ontario means that I have a lot of long commutes to the destinations, but I count that as part of the adventure. I know that lots of people trailer to avoid that commute, which is good for them. I think that people should do what makes them happy. Thanks for watching.

You have someone do your tires, so I see needing them both off. My V-Strom, since I do my own tires, is easy. With the center stand, the rear is off the ground. I change it and put it back on. The front tire, I loosen the pinch bolts, loosen the axle, remove the calipers, pull the axle out and the front lifts and the bike settles on the rear tire. My bike has the tire speed monitors, and you have to remember to remove those before yanking axles. I've been running the Missions on a DL1000XAL8/2018 V-Strom 1000XT. With the stuff I carry, it's about a 600lb motorcycle The front was replaced at 9000 miles (14,400K) because it was scalloping. The rear has 12000 miles (19,200K) on it, and I can see it's only got about 3000 miles (4,800K) left. I do NOT run my tires down to the wear bar. And I have to say the tires mileages were about 70% gravel/dirt and 30% street. On the street, they are almost as good as a Bridgestone Trail Wing. Rain isn't a problem. On dirt and gravel, they are great. They are not so great in deep mud or deep sand. They don't have the voids like a knobbie to sling mud under 8 miles an hour or to dig down through sand. The entire Hampster Ride was on the rear tire I still have on the bike and the replaced front tire.
@tigercowardАй бұрын
Yeah, I am happy to pay to have the tires changed and get it done properly. I don't trust myself. Thanks for watching. Btw these tires were great on the Trans Tiaga!

@@tigercoward Thanks for answering! I'd have a few questions for you... My main one right now is what's the max distance between two gas stations?
@tigercoward2 ай бұрын
The longest stretch is a little over 400km, between Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Port Hope-Simpson. I got gas in Manic 5, Fermont, Labrador City, Churchill Falls, and Happy-Valley Goose Bay. I brought gas, so I used it between Happy-Valley Goose Bay and Port Hope-Simpson. I probably could have made it, but who needs that anxiety. My advice is to take extra. Also, get gas and food when you can. In Churchill Falls, the gas station/store and grocery store all closed at 7:00, and there were no other options. Lab City is the major supply centre and has everything you.
@rheymanda10742 ай бұрын
@@tigercoward And what about just between Baie-Comeau and Farnham? Truth is, this is one of two potential plans for when I leave on my 49cc next week. I won't go any further because of limited vacation time and slow moving vehicle. I have about 150km autonomy, so I expect I'll need to bring extra fuel. What's the state of the road? Should I bring a spare tire? Is there any way we can chat outside of these comments? :)
@tigercoward2 ай бұрын
Farnham to Baie Comeau is a well developed area, so there are services everywhere. I can't comment on tires because I ride a 1200 Adventure Bike, so I have no experience with your ride. I didn't take tires with me, nor did my riding mates. Now, the only non-paved sections of the route are north of Manic 5 to Fermont . You can reach me at [email protected].
