i met you last suterday at rockorrman string shop. i listened to your guiter playing. you have pretty sound in paticular high range area of sound. your feather like fingering is my favorite. i hope you continue to play the guiter. by the way you bought that japan made guiter??

Thank you very much. Yes, I remember you. Thank you for your kind comments. I haven’t bought the Asturias yet. I’m planning to go back later in the summer to try an Asturias Renaissance or perhaps a Sakurai. I loved the Asturias I tried that day, but I’ve heard that the Asturias Renaissance is even better! Japanese-made guitars are becoming very popular.

Gracias por sus comentarios tan amables y generosos. Soy escocés y por lo tanto, a mi también me inspiran las montañas, pero la clave de mi música, como verá en mi sitio web (david-mann-japan.com/about.html), yace en el intentar de evocar la soledad - una emoción que uno experimenta más bien en la montaña, al lado del mar o de paseo a la orilla de un río. Saludos a Chile de Japón.

Thank you very much for your kind comment. This piece was an experiment with an unusual time signature: 3/8 + 3/4, but it ended up with a touch of South America, don't you think? Not Chilean music, maybe - more like a Choros from Brazil.
