Some great sounds here! How well would the module work as a quadraphonic mixer with some internal effects?
@tesseractmodular3149
@tesseractmodular3149 Ай бұрын
Such thing is not possible, Vinia's concept is about channels, so outputs are linked to their respective sound sources & effects. There's an exception which is the master mixer, activating it will make output 7&8 the master L&R outs, where all channels can be mixed down.

Didn't realize this was an AI voice-over. It's not so bad. Question: with nothing plugged into the CV input, can the cv outs be used for offsets and gates?
@tesseractmodular3149

Not sure if I understand your question, the CV outs can be used to whatever you want, and that's independent of a voltage being plugged in the CV input

A quick question: if I understand well, the setup is accessible only during power-on cycle. Is this correct?
@tesseractmodular3149
@tesseractmodular3149 Жыл бұрын
yes, that's correct, but some other things can be changed on the fly by holding shift, like changing the wave shaper mode, the octave and sustain

@@tesseractmodular3149 Thanks. That's a strange design choice. I understand you would use only one setup, but the prospect of switching off and on the full rack each time you want to experiment sounds is not very attractive. Or am I missing something?
@tesseractmodular3149
@tesseractmodular3149 Жыл бұрын
@@gilberth_ for sure the power cycle is not an attractive way to access these options, but the alternative is not including them in the module, which is based on an atmega328p ...and has its limitations about memory etc. So these settings must be in the 'setup' part of the code to be initialized before the main code starts. Some software (and gear too) needs restart to apply certain changes in the configuration, in this one you need to do that to access these configuration options, but at least these options are there.

Would be perfect if it had even the most basic two dollar 16x2 LCD screen stuck in a corner or something, just to display the name of the current mode/menu/button. It would save one a ton of trouble getting lost and needing the cheat sheet and make this module feel accessible to way more people. Maybe something for the V2? Love your work, as always

Why don't you start showing it's features without the background music. That is very distracting from trying to listen to what you are saying. That and a slight accent and high rate of speech is making it difficult to follow what you are saying. Just some helpful feedback, I hope.
