So i was chatting to another camper who was worked in the meatworks and all the fatty discarded bits from a carcss was boiled up and used to make soap, maybe thats why yabbies like an old soap bar

Yeah it’s very dry out there, I spent a few weeks in outback QLD, can’t get enough of it, I’ll be at Louth on the outskirts of Bourke soon and will follow the Darling River down to Mildura, also getting a metal detector to try my hand at prospecting in these old towns

@@burbs-to-bush-redbakadventures mate we are in richmond now got some fossils but yes the town ship pretty much only has roads and concrete slab for the garages BUT if you go up to the pit its only 7 kms up the road leave the van at the township its the worst road ever in ausse for pot holes. theres 2 track both maybe 100 mts long the one to the right goes to the front of the pit the left one takes you up on the terraces, where you can get some samples of the rocks,......... the musem in richmond worth a look if you go out to the number 1 fossicing area look for a fellow with a truck for his motor home tell him what you are doing and see what he has found damn nice stuff
