A clarification: Form of interest-articulation connotes the mode/style of interest articulation, not the means of interest articulation. Hence, violence, mass media, political parties are not forms of interest articulation

Legal equality is the base of political equality & economic equality is the precondition of political equality' means without legal equality and economic equality, political equality is meaningless. Economic equality provides security from economic danger and legal equality provides security from antisocials. Economic inequality and activities of antisocials are the major obstacles before political activities.

Clarifications: The tribal war was not between sudras and tribes. It was a phenomena of primitive society where there was continious fight between tribes some got defeated and broken into bits and some settled. Those who were broken subsequently became untouchables and started staying outside the village and the settled tribes formed village community. Some of these broken men became followers of Budhhism and started hating Brahmins as Budhhism was antithetical to Brahminism.

Civil society requires individual's active engagement with state, economy, nation, religion, family, neighborhood and many other settings. to reach this goal is not so easy as it sounds. most of the individuals have been trapped in one or another sub-ordinate relationship, where the civility they learn is differential rather than interdependent. that is why the liberating projects such as democratic citizenship, socialist production or nationalism has yet to produced a sustainable liberation rather they have contributed to disorder in contemporary times. hence the need of the hour is to revitalize these projects by bringing them together where each can find the partial fulfillment.

Yes, civil society is setting of settings. Setting must be an uncoerced body. Family is an uncoerced setting.

Correction: phenomenological approach can be traced to Franz Bretano empirical standpoint in 1889 not 1884 and was further developed by Edmund Husserl in 1900-01 in his logical investigation in the field of psychology.
