LYRICS !! - My baby, my baby You're my baby, say it to me Baby, my baby Tell your baby that I'm your baby I bet on losing dogs I know they're losing and I'll pay for my place by the ring Where I'll be looking in their eyes when they're down I'll be there on their side I'm losing by their side Will you let me, baby, lose on losing dogs? I know they're losing and I'll pay for my place By the ring Where I'll be looking in their eyes when they're down I wanna feel it I bet on losing dogs I always want you when I'm finally fine How you'd be over me looking in my eyes when I come Someone to watch me die Someone to watch me die I bet on losing dogs (did you get that?)

Absolutely love this performance. Wish they had a live cellist for this song, but this works perfectly fine, too. The drummer looks different. Wondering if Ellis Dupuy still performs with her. Such an understated, yet a very propulsive drummer that really made such a difference on her songs. If he's no longer a part of this, I could see that a switch to moodier, slower and more atmospheric songs could have partially been out of necessity to be able to replicate the magic in a live setting.

@ivanl.8201 He performed at the NYC show earlier in the year so guessing he couldn't make this tour which sucks and it's noticeable

@@DJ-IronMike And I’m personally finding this to be a very different album and material from the previous ones. It’s taking me some time to wrap my head around it, unlike the previous albums and songs, which just grabbed me. I’m kind of missing her guitar style from the earlier songs such as ‘The Florist’, ‘Angels’, ‘Sliding Doors’, 'Thanks 4 Nothing', ‘The Unordained’, ‘Day 7’, and even ‘Company’ or ‘Chase Me’. But this one is very delicate, has excellent songwriting, and is maybe more emotionally resonant in some ways. This song has a special emotional landscape that’s hard to describe. It seems spiritually similar to Suzanne Vega’s ‘Night Vision’, ‘Small Blue Thing’, or ‘Edith Wharton’s Figurines’. There’s that sort of vibe, and I am all ears if she were to further explore this sort of terrain.

@billyheitzmann...I got the Medley video from the bottom floor view. Got lots of head tops since I'm only 5'5 yet, I got good tight shots of Emma and the sound is surprisingly good. @DJ-IronMike, your video vantage is awesome. Kinda wish a bit taller yet, I'm glad you uploaded a wonderful video of MIT.

LYRICS !! - You're my number one You're the one I want And you've turned down Every hand that has beckoned me to come You're my number one You're the one I want And I've turned down every hand That has beckoned me to come 'Cause you're the one I got You're the one I got So I'll keep turning down the hands That beckon me to come Though I'm a geyser Feel it bubbling from below Hear it call, hear it call Hear it call to me Constantly And hear the harmony Only when it's harming me It's not real, it's not real It's not real enough But I will be the one you need The way I can't be without you I will be the one you need I just can't be without you

LYRICS - If I could, I'd be your little spoon And kiss your fingers forevermore But, big spoon, you have so much to do And I have nothing ahead of me You're the sun, you've never seen the night But you hear its song from the morning birds Well, I'm not the moon, I'm not even a star But awake at night I'll be singing to the birds Don't wait for me, I can't come Your mother wouldn't approve of how my mother raised me But I do, I think I do And you're an all-American boy I guess I couldn't help trying to be your best American girl You're the one You're all I ever wanted I think I'll regret this Your mother wouldn't approve of how my mother raised me But I do, I finally do And you're an all-American boy I guess I couldn't help trying to be the best American girl Your mother wouldn't approve of how my mother raised me But I do, I think I do
