It's silly that its an add on option to mount golf bags on a GOLF cart! Keep the light up speakers and put GPS on the screen instead. Golfers would appreciate it much more.

My d5 ranger key has very limited range, only a few feet. KEEP the key with you- if you happen to go and leave the key behind, return back and get key before turning off the cart, or else it will lock down the cart. 10:39

Also have the dealer show you how to release the brake in case you need to tow or push the cart, there is no tow toggle switch like on a club car.

Just bought my D5 2+2 cash. Even though the zero interest was appealing, i still got a good price for all those specs. Some seem to be sceptical on these carts but i drove it and fell in love. 8 yrs on the battery and 2 yrs mechanic at no extra. Cant beat it

Yes, It is possible. There are new construction and resale single family homes with lake views.

I live in the villages Fl. The D5 Ranger cart has become very popular. 2 things keep me from pulling the trigger, discontinued 205ah battery, speculation is when they dropped the price $2,000-3000 they decided to not offer the 205ah to save $$$. 2nd problem is the all black seats, they get scorching hot. Why you can't change out seat is beyond me. All the seats have the same cost no matter which color you choose, so why not make customers happy and put the color seats they want in the cart. I guess you get what you pay for.

Just ordered our 2 plus 2 Maverick D5 yesterday 🎉❤ Leaving EZ Go lead acid for it! Wanted the Mav 4 but for my use around house with gardening, I love the tailgate with cooler feature and those super comfy deep back seats with seatbelts and upgraded footrest make me feel comfortable with my guest on back. Cant WAIT🎉🎉🎉

We bought the D5 Maverick and after having it the last 9 months we regret buying it. Let me say first and foremost that we live at the beach so this cart was purchased with that in mind. We live less than 2 miles from the sand/beach entrance. So taking that in, cruising for around 25 miles for half a day and the cart is already at 12% battery left. Needless to say this cart isn't built for the sand as I'm sure most if not all electric carts suck in the sand, especially soft sand.. All we can do is hope that the sand is harder most days than not. We've had the sound bar replaced (not the end of the world-warranty), ignition switch and wiring replaced and the charging cord completely melt to an extension cord (most recently). The electric display has cool features but most you'll never use, like the movie, music and FM radio functions. We bought this brand new when they first came out. No wonder it's $3k less now than previous years. Hindsight we'd have gotten a gas cart. Yes we understand that not all Evolution performs this way but I can assure you that in the sand, they all do perform poorly. We're not talking sand dunes either.

Hi there I am looking at a D5 from a company in TN. I spoke to them this morning on price and came to 9,500. The sales rep also stated that it comes stock at 19mph and can have it turned up for me to go 25 mph for an additional 300.00. Your video states that they come stock at 25. Am i getting scammed?

Yeah you’re getting scammed. It literally takes your dealer 2 minutes to change the speed parameters on your controller lol

My dealer bumped my D 5 Maverick to above 30 for completely free. Was done in a minute. Anyone charging you for this after you purchase a cart from them tell them to pound sand and go somewhere else. Don’t waste you money on them

Considering getting one. I’ve heard many people online complain that these are poorly made and that finding replacement parts is a nightmare. The recommendation is to go with EZ go or club cart. What do you think?

I've heard many replacement parts for all of the cart manufacturer's can be difficult at times. Let me know which cart you end up going with. I believe carts perform differently in different climates. We have to be careful here in Vegas during the summer due to the heat. Find a cart that will perform the best where you live.

You have to have the program for the controller and their data transfer cable from evolution in order to program it. Check your local dealer! 👍🏽

@@marylafontaine3345 I have not switched yet (will be very soon) from my Icon to this Maverick D5. Since this video, I've had more friends and neighbors buy either the Maverick or Ranger. So far, I have not heard any negatives. Let me know what you end up buying.

Agreed, however you an always upgrade the battery. My neighbor upgraded his and it gets around 50-60 miles per charge.

When we lived in Viera, FL it was also designed as a master development. We paid 3 HOA dues. 1. Fairway Mngmt.-our actual gated community 2. Tavistock-The development in which you entered all 8 or so gated communities. 3. Viera itself It was exhausting and taxing. Our area was gorgeous of course. Unfortunately, the agent representing us never told us about those.

6,000 is what the dealers are buying them for something to think about and there not even worth 6,000 cuz everything about them is cheap so when u want trade in or resale it how you think there going to give if there getting them for 6,000 and good luck on there battery’s n parts

There are too many variables to give an exact range. I have seen 25 to 43 miles on on charge in a new D5 Ranger.

Great video Brian. We just bought a new construction from Del Webb last month and you gave some great points to think about when it closes in December How is OTA signal in the area. Looks like TV station towers are just 9 miles away, this can save on cable TV costs. Any issues with using the lake with our own SUP. Heard you need to get an annual license from WS and sign in each time to enter the water.

Nathan, Congrats on your purchase. Not sure on the OTA signal. We do not watch any "live" TV. We cut the cord years ago. We have Apple TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime TV. On occasion we will purchase a show/series. No issues with paddle-boarding. Two weeks ago we reserved 2 boards and a kayak through the LLV Sports Club and launched them from the beach at Reflection Bay. My neighbor brought his own board (on his golf cart) and launched with us. I've never heard of any sign-in or license with the LLV Water Sports. (I'm planning on doing a LLV Paddle Board Video very soon) Brian
