It helps if you listen and pay attention to the answers though. Trump fans ask him what his name is, he says Barack Obama, they cheer!

Except it didn't. I already thought that way. I too was called a wiseass/smart alec growing up. Another good one is “I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think”. A big problem is alot of people are too lazy to even bother learning stuff. Not even willing to look up simple answers with Google.

What surprises me is that everybody adheres to Socrates' famous quote "I know nothing" without question: seriously? Actually, this quote is nothing more than just the first known substitution of terms. By saying "I know nothing," the cunning Socrates meant that he knew very little in comparison to all the knowledge in the world. Socrates' famous quote "I know nothing" is often misinterpreted. Rather than a rant of ignorance, it was a clever rhetorical device. By saying "I know nothing," Socrates was not actually claiming total ignorance, but rather acknowledging the vastness of human knowledge compared to his own.

yes, but when you question the king's wisdom, then you risk execution. crooked people become nervous and sometimes angry when people ask questions. so, there is perhaps a time when it is unsafe to ask questions, at least publicly or out loud. and one must be careful of the questions that they ask or how the question is asked so as not to offend the other person. some people think that they can get away with anything and that there are no consequences, neither physical nor spiritual.

This is WHY Western civilization is the best. Ideas of questioning your leaders, freedom of speech and respecting individual rights, property ownership, merit over bloodline, is what shapes the modern world today. These are profound ideas given to us by Western philosophers. Respect the West.

Here is the rub, I like all humans, was born of my mother. However, growing up in a colony of the British empire, yet with the fortune of a religious tradition from Arabia but with English as my primary language, meant that I would always approach my understanding of the material world with a highly critical eye. The irony is that,..the Arabs armed not with swords but with the ability to have a muti_focused approach to knowledge, handed over the remnants[what was not destroyed by the Church to the West...and promptly went back to the days of ignorance. Yet,it was my teacher born in Israel, who gave me the key to use Socratic reasoning in rationalising my faith, and while I have just about no friends or family left who think I am somewhat sane, I am getting closer to finally understand me!
