I've got a 2017 8x16 Carmate Enclosed trailer for sale if your interested. It has about 200 road miles on it. It's as close to new condition as you can probably get. I bought it for a pressure washing business years ago but never started the business. I've been using it for storage on my property. I'm in New Jersey if you're interested 😊 thanks Steve

Was just noticing your pump isn’t in a box are you not worried about corrosion messing it up 🤨
@danielthedumpsterhelper28 күн бұрын
It didn’t come with a box and the solenoid has been a big cause for concern for me. I have insulated gloves as a cover to keep hot lead from touching anything. NOT ideal but with such a tight area as cans roll above it, I’ve been trying to find a solution for that whole area. Besides building a diy cover of sorts, I can’t find anything from SNG to cover that pump. Their original cover was only over the solenoid, from what I’ve gathered. Never had a problem with the pump itself. 🤷♂️ I’m more than open to any ideas or suggestions 🧐🫡
@BentIronBins28 күн бұрын
@@danielthedumpsterhelper without me seeing it in person hard to see the amount of space there is. If you have a welder fabricator that you use he could build you a cover or reposition it inside a small side box.

1. No point in don't half a job. 2. Would the improved weight distribution reduce the stress on the dumpsters as well as the rails?
@danielthedumpsterhelper29 күн бұрын
No, the dumpster rails would be the last to have a problem. The bottom frame of the dumpster will be the strongest point of contact on a can, is my understanding.
@GONAVYDAS05Ай бұрын
1. Three adjusters will love you, also. :) 2. Phone call recording legality depends on the state laws. In Indiana, as long as 1 person knows that the call is being recorded, it is legal. (Of course, the alphabet agencies exempt THEMSELVES from that limitation.)

Hey man that was easily the most solid video I've watched from a channel with less than 3k subs and 600 views. keep it up dude. your channel will blow up quick like the repo man channels and even other channels like the hoof gp that people like to watch just for background noise or because it's relaxing to relax while they watch someone else work hard lol. great job on the video. My only critique would be to show more dumping and driving forward when the trash falls out maybe from a tripod camera set up or something behind the truck and show some quick clips of any crm you use or however you bill customers obviously without giving away pricing or costs but it's always fun to see a sneak peek into the money side of things as well as the labor stuff. I own a junk business myself, no roll offs, just 14ft big tex trailers, and I have thought about starting a youtube channel myself which is how I found your channel. Keep it up man. You'll grow in no time.

For the transferstation, are they only hauling out waste to the landfill during the day? We have 5 cities on the south side and 2 more on the more northern end across the water as they say. And one of the cities has a landfill and each of the 4 cities on the south side have a transfer station which they run loads out during the day and some times all night depending on the city. There’s actually 2 in the bigger city we have. And 2 more private owned landfills. But if we had only one main landfill and 10 transfer stations good luck lol. I feel your pain

1. When you dump stuff off, does the transfer station track such-&-such trash is from this guy, and so-&-so trash is from that guy? 2. Have you identified a transfer station that uses a different landfill, just in case both in-town stations use the same ladnfill?
@danielthedumpsterhelperАй бұрын
1. If you have an account, yes. If not, no. 2. Both go to the same landfill, as far as I know, there is no other landfill and I would have no idea what they would do if they needed a more serious backup plan🤷♂️

As far as Brand Recognition, If I don't have any deliveries or drop offs sometimes I'll go to Home Depot and park the truck and go wandering around to various stores for an hour. Or I"ll even wait to fuel up for days that I don't have any deliveries and take the truck for a wash and fill up and drive through some busy areas to get out there in front of folks eye balls.

I always use a route with less traffic and fewer lights if possible. Even if it's a little farther out of the way. For me it's a money saver all the way around. Less stopping and going saves fuel and less traffic decreases your chance of a accident.
@danielthedumpsterhelperАй бұрын
Thanks for sharing! That’s a good point! Another factor is rate of speed. Slower speeds means less of a chance things could whip up and get out from underneath my tarp on the sides. I have yet to see a tarp system that gives zero chance of that, especially with a partial load that items light enough have a flying start, if that makes sense. I’ll intentionally go a slower route and not go on the highway where there’s more of a chance for a problem like that. It’s crazy how many factors that go into simple routing, that are all plausible to me for different reasons. And we have to calculate the risk/reward route on every single can we pick up. 🤷♂️😎👍

1. That can't be a door. It isn't closed, so it must be a-jar. 2. That funeral home idea sounds pretty good to me. 10 out of 10 people die. 3. Instead of hiring an employee, is there any practical way you could set up a leasing style arrangement with additional drivers of your dumpsters, similar to how RV transport does, but with your equipment, instead of theirs?
