What are the odds that you and I have the same video complaints (and car issues) on the same day for this 22 year old car? Love the internet sometimes. Anyways, looking at the Haynes manual, it looks like this should be performed from underneath the car. Should not need to route the connector or wire out through the engine bay. There is a captive clip to hold the wire in place that is made of plastic (male) inserted through a metal ring. You can either squeeze the back of the plastic clip to send it through and free it, or simply chop it off. And then use a cable tie during re-install. Also -- manual also states there is no clearance for an offset O2 wrench. Gonna have to use a crescent wrench 7/8" and some elbow grease. As always, heating up the exhaust pipes via running the car for a couple minutes is best, but risky with burns. If you have ramps to drive the car up on to, it's usually the perfect amount of clearance and warm up. Did you have any issues with your intake air boot? Between the air filter body and the throttle? Mine is cracked, replacement ordered, but am suspecting that the extra oxygen in the fuel/air is creating a lean condition and making the upstream O2 sensor angry. That said.. the mass air flow sensor is inside of the throttle body, so it shouldn't be doing this.
