Loving this game. I got it when it came out, but kind of forgot about it. !0th edition has me hyped on 40k again though, so been playing this after painting minis. I really wish there were some up to date guides on units and the unlock tree's though, as it can get a bit overwhelming when trying to unlock the right stuff.

I really liked hidden packages in GTA 3. But typically now. Unless it's really a small amount. I won't bother. Like I'll get them as and when But never out my way to collect all of them.

bobbleheads in fallout were a really good system as collectibles given that they enhanced your character FF10 having superbosses for doing the monster arenas and stuff was tedious but worth it and the game you were thinking where you had to collect all things for an alternate ending would be hellblade and another mechanic i think would be interesting to discuss would be minigames and how sometimes they're boring and completely meaningless to the story (alohamora in hogwarts) or fun like blitzball in FF10 or insectron in rogue galaxy or even talking about the various different types of choose your own adventure games like detroit become human or the stanley parable and the effects of the different styles of choice games that exist

One thing I can't figure out is how to use the command air strikes unlocked on carleons buffs page.

tips 1. flame vent works super well on beast-type and red-eye enemies as per fromsoftware tradition 2. you can parry arrows and bullets 3. the makiri counter requires you to not be moving otherwise it'll turn into a short dash 4. for the spear guy it's best to take out the smaller enemies first then hide back on the roof until the spear guy loses aggro, then sneak attack him then fight as normal (without the dying) 5. in general it's best to save your spirit emblems for bosses and minibosses so that you have your tools to fight 6. you can grapple on the chained ogres back for some free hits but still be careful as he can hit you 7. a good spot for farming experience for the extra skills is the path in front of the hirata estate then refreshing at idol 8. not a tip but that last death was pretty funny

just typing these tips as i watch along and will send at the end but 1. the red letter that appears with enemy attacks means it can't be parried and in the case of the miniboss you were stuck on for a while where it was a sweep attack it was a good idea to jump attack when he was doing that 2. the pink "timer" at the bottom of the screen is how many resurrects you have charged 3. the dogs can be parried 4. it's better to try for parry's rather than blocks as blocking will build up your stagger bar much faster than parrying 5. the shuriken at this point is best used when enemies are in the air or for smaller enemies that you wanna interrupt the attacks of but tbf if you have time to interrupt their attacks you have time to parry 6.don't buy spirit emblems if possible, instead save for merchants 7. prayer beads get used at the idol (you got one from the miniboss) 8. with areas that have a lot of enemies it's best to start from the higher ground then work on the lower ground enemies so you don't have to deal with reinforcements or ranged enemies 9.big guys with the hammer you're best off sneak attacking 10. bullets can be parried as well 11. before the cannon guy but after the miniboss you fought, in the last parts of the video there is a merchant at the top of a rocky hill/spire thingo 12. bring the bell to the delapidated temple for a fun time
