Wait, so we can steam 4k 30fps on the mark II via USB? The Mark I only outputs 720p which is quite underwhelming.

I have the Beacn Mic and Beacn Mix Create and LOVE them both! You are comparing after NOT having it in your hands? REALLY?? And Dark Corner Studios main grip is the electrical noise removal at the base and NOT being able to turn it on and off, for the sake of his mic reviews, which is true, but this is for live streamers, we want that removal!! Question, have you looked to see what a dual pc streamer can do with the Beacn Studio? bringing over 4 stereo channels from a second pc to the main pc?? GO XLR? nope, Elgato? nope, Rode? nope.....NOBODY can do that for dual PC streaming! I have NONE of those issues of Beacn crashing, though my elgato has for my gaming PC! My recommendation is buy Beacn from Sweetwater and you get a 2 year warranty and you can return if you dont like it, but I can do sooooo many things with Beacn that just cant be done by all these other programs! I have been using the Mix create since launch and the Beacn Mic 6 months after that! I multi-stream to Twitch, KZbin, Trovo, Kick, X and Rumble and have ZERO issues and if you have any questions, please feel free to hit me up! 5 other streamer friends of mine have gone Beacn and LOVE it and have ditched there elgato, Sonar and such!

The Rodecaster series is GREAT, but NOT for live streamers that want to have music and such! I would have to GREATLY hinder my live streams to use that product and the Beacn software while using the mic create AND the beacn mic only uses about 2 percent of my CPU, the beacn mic has its own DSP in the mic and offloads that from the cpu, like your Rodecaster series gear!

When it comes to trust reviewers on Amazon website, I don't trust them (user reviewers) 95 percent of the time due to how they do things. As for trusting companies, it's twice as hard. FiFine is the only company I've seen where they do customers right & put out great microphones. I'm still hunting for the final microphone, but don't know which one to get (podcast/live streaming). I like watching product (microphones, boom arms & etc) reviews for wanting to know what am I getting into. Your videos are great & will continue to watch them.

First off, thanks for your service (U.S. military for those who don't know what it means). Second off, I'm hunting for low profile microphone boom arm (something that it can handle heavy mics like Maono PD400X or Samson Q9U for example). Just got an L Shaped desk (FEZIBO) last month. Most people rather be buying stuff for company's name sake instead of doing research. Excellent video, SHJ!

@SquidHeadJoe
@SquidHeadJoe 22 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment 🙏 as far as the camlink 4k I'm pretty sure it's only 4k 30 not 4k 60. I know elgato has a 2 pcie capture cards that connect to your pc motherboard and they do 4k 60(to my knowledge) but they are pricey and your motherboard needs to be compatible or you will have blue screens. However, for other companies external capture cards that do at least 4k 60 pass through I honestly have none so I wouldn't know which to recommend just being honest.

Hey brother I hope is all good. Can you please recomend me a shotgun mic for gaming or streaming? I just don't like having a mic in my face. Thank you in advance and have a great day.
@SquidHeadJoe
@SquidHeadJoe 23 күн бұрын
it depends on what your audio interface is, does it allow VST/plugs LIVE while streaming and the sound treatment of your room, a shotgun mic is good for eqing out room echo etc in editing. live streaming & using one is tricky thats why most people us a low profile boom arm and a dynamic mic that way it cuts out on room echo & easy to eq and is kind of out of your face etc.. however if you still want to use one then i would say go with a pencil condenser mic rather than a traditional shotgun mic, i find they work the best for me at least your results may very. as far as which one any of them well do but i would say do your own research of course. the channel i recommend for this is Podcastage . i hope this was helpful

Can you use 4k 60 with camlink? And does it overheat if it is about 20 C?
@SquidHeadJoe
@SquidHeadJoe 26 күн бұрын
The camlink only does up to 4k 30 and just get the fan like I suggested, and you won't have to worry about overheating. I've been using the fan for over a year on the mark 1 for over 5 hours most days streaming plus some days recording as well with no overheating, and with the mark 2 I've been streaming 4 to 5 hours in slog3 4k 30 no issue or overheating with the fan.

@SquidHeadJoe
@SquidHeadJoe 29 күн бұрын
Yes both can be used as webcams, that's technically how I do my videos but both using hdmi. If you plan on using the usb then the mark one does 720p only and the mark 2 does 4k 30 both ether way, usb or hdmi your going to need the fan so they won't overheat

So, does the ZV-E10 mark 2 overheats when streaming through HDMI capture card? Less than with USB-C Streaming?
@SquidHeadJoe
@SquidHeadJoe Ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure I said in the video that no matter what you do, just get the fan for the back of the camera, I that was made clear and understandable, but I guess not. Just get the fan and keep the fan powered with usb, and it won't overheat. The mark 1 never has after I got the fan over a year ago, and so for a week the mark 2 hasn't overheated. It is a must-have accessory regardless if you're doing USB or HDMI.

@SquidHeadJoe
@SquidHeadJoe Ай бұрын
I don't know how you can say it's not a con just because it didn't happen to you? That makes no sense. All I can do is try a product and report my experience and what I said in the video is MY experience, clearly you didn't read my review disclaimer in the beginning of the video were I state YOUR experience may defer from mine. However, just because you don't encounter an issue doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Side note it's weird to watch a review on a product that you bought and had no issues with just to say so... weird...

@@SquidHeadJoe i was about to buy this emeet s800 cam, but so every time i open obs do i need to set it at 4k? or just the first time?

@SquidHeadJoe 27 күн бұрын
@@AronnRodarteESP I would first check out the video I did on the OBSBOT Meet 4k & Tiny 2 ( ytube.io/3zeC ) as those might be easier to deal with as a whole. However I have been told from Emeet that they are working on making improvements and seen some for the S800 already. Now to answer your question, as long as you have it plugged into the right kind of usb port and when you go into the properties and under resolution you have an option for 4k you should be good as long as you don't unplug it etc... with that said last i heard from them they are working on having the settings be saved/carried over upon reboot/re-usage.

I will say, I did this very early on (back in 2020), but totally passed on that for future stuff.
