Brother how to audio connect cam to obs studio...
@SquidHeadJoe
@SquidHeadJoe 7 күн бұрын
Not sure if your joking or not but that's an obvious answer when you hook up your camera to a capture card and then bring it in obs as an video source, the audio from the video source already gets automatically added....yea....this has to be a joke question...you can not be real...everyone knows this and you would to if you tried it because again, obs would automatically do it for you... 🫠

Not sure what your talking about but the way you phrased the statement I'm guessing you mean recording to the actual device and for what I'm talking about would be recording to your pc/obs as most of my viewers/audience and friends, including me, record/stream that way. For what you need, I apologize but since I don't think i could help you in the quest for what your looking for

Yea that's what i did and I didn't like what it did to the audio lol like I said it was unusable trust me lol. What i did was turn off the noise suppression and expander then just ran up the noise removal in Nvidia broadcast and i checked the box like you said in the mixing park in a software for the beacn studio and only let the Nvida broadcast checked
@barneyjack
@barneyjack 10 күн бұрын
also, it might be possible to control the audio of the TOTAL volume per beacn channel with your PC Panel device! I have been able to do this using the streamdeck + plugin by bar raider, but it controls both personal and audience mix volume for individual channel!

ok, I got it working!! :) :) Goto beacn mixer software, deactivate the beacn microphone under mic, and select nvidia broadcast, then goto nvidia broadcast and grab Microphone Beacn Studio. This will allow you to grab the XLR mic AFTER eq settings, but still have the noise removal you need for your room!

Yea that's the process I tired and it didn't sound good, might upload the clips as a unlisted video so people can see what i mean. For me applying the noise removal after and not before what beacn software does what it does is the problem I think

I've a deep voice as well. Whenever I do some research on microphones, I'd listen to see if it fits my voice (Samson Q9U for example). Too many people go out & get the most popular microphones (Shure, Rode for example), but don't do research if it fits their voice. @15:05, Roland Bridge Cast One (small & $199), Roland Bridge Cast (small/medium & $ on sale for $229) & Roland Bridge Cast X ($399). I was going to get GOXLR Mini, but little to no update (due to layoffs). I'll looking into Roland Bridge Cast. Excellent video, SHJ!

Can you recommend a product that you think is better value than the Beacn Studio but would still give me the ability to monitor my voice with all the DSP applied and also does all the processing on the device itself? I am running an SM7B and my GoXLR mini just took a dump and I’m looking for a new interface.

You hit so many nails in the head. I often get contacted by companies wanting content creation with the compensation being "exposure" because their product is so outstanding and amazing that talking about it will somehow pay my bills. Another classic is "Since this is our first cooperation, we don’t have a good estimate of the effect of the cooperation." Well duh, in every business transaction there is risk. I still reply to most companies with a list of package options with various budgets. None of these include revisions or talking points, so even if I get paid for making the video, I still express my own opinions. I'm impressed with how much you got going on in your life and still somehow manage to run a channel. Keep up what you're doing. From the situations you mentioned, I don't feel like those companies really deserve your apologies because most situations were simply beyond your control and things they should own up to.

This is 84 dollars right now. While I do have a white table I would like a red and black boom arm to match my spiderman ps5. If the boom is all metal and could hold my rode podmic usb I will be happy. It is sweet that you gave a friend a new audio set up
@SquidHeadJoe
@SquidHeadJoe 25 күн бұрын
Yea, I think the discounted price of $65 is best for this type of item not $84. As far as an all metal mic arm, even if it was red & black, unfortunately finding one that's priced right in todays market for mic arms I think will be hard to find.

So question, if you are on a budget and still want quality..should you get this Microphone or save up more and get the Shure SM 58??
@SquidHeadJoe
@SquidHeadJoe 26 күн бұрын
honestly it comes down to what your going to be doing with the mic, the Shure mics have decent handling noise rejection on the SM 58 (mostly used for singing or stage performances etc. but you can use it for content creation) & MV7X, the MV7X is $150 right now on amazon and is a good mic and for $160 you can get it with an XLR cable, if that's more important then I'd say go with one of those if not and you need cheaper then this mic is a good choice. hopefully that helped.
