Windows vista was the problem.

The bassplayers cabinet placement is crucial. And the kick drum location also. My guitar amp with a single 12" in a closed cabinet is super directional. Now we invested in two dB opera 402D active 1"+12" speakers and a active dB sub 808D 18" bandpass sub with stereo XLR and 90 Hz crossover. The idea is to put a little guitars and drum and bass in the PA to even out sound and cut stage volume.

I started getting interested in live sound PA etc. I play in a pop/rock band, and we normally do not mic anything else than the three vocals through a crappy PA. (piezo+15") yeickss.. The pub we play at has its own PA with two large JBL speakers with 15" (similar to a JBL PRX 615M) hanging from the ceiling. Only a little kick goes in with vocals. But on a private gig i went out and listened to our own gear, only vocals through PA; yeicks, Bad balance. Especially the bass guitar.

I've always used Traktor Pro on a Mackbook Pro laptop. Never crashed or malfunctioned a single time. I used to have Traktor LE on a HP laptop running vista, and it crashed almost every gig. I've found you get what you pay for as far as software goes. (to a certain extent). it's a worthy investment if your services rely on it.

I had never concidered the REVO III before. After seeing your vid, I will consider it now. Awesome effect! I love LEDs. I usually use 8 pins on a 10' I-Truss bar with a few old style lights. REVO III would change it ALOT... thanks man

Great log! I always carry my iPhone and sync the most important songs as a playlist for each gig. I do the same on my iPod. Also carry CDs. Can't have too many backups! DJ Maverick

Thanks Albert! My phone has the capability to do that, but I'm not in a 3G area grr. The venue had a connection I would have went off of if the other guy didn't have it.

This video is a great example of where the couple doesn't cheap out and hire bottom feeders or DIY solutions. Issues came up and they were quickly and seamlessly dealt with. Great video!

Thats some really nice footage. Nice video, nice transitions. If I were to make a suggestion....I think you should fade in some small clips of other songs. Like during the reunion footage, and such. Like songs that fit that event more, but are also upbeat. Then fade back into Darude near the end. That would make it perfect.
