I also got one cineape35, and how did you become this range? With the stock antennas on the quad and the DarwinFPV goggles (DMKR FPV) came i to a maximum 170 meters far away. I hope for an answer and more of these cool videos
@theroaduntraveled88752 ай бұрын
Thanks, glad you liked the videos. Sorry to hear, thats pretty terrible range, I guess you mean the range of the video ?? Im not familiar with the Darwin FPV goggles so it could be very different from my setup. Im using Eachine EV300O diversity goggles and all stock antennas. Do you have the VTX configured in betaflight for max power of 1W ?? I know when I first got it I was running the wrong script so I wasnt getting max power on the video
@user-yk6qk8dj6x2 ай бұрын
@theroaduntraveled8875 Thanks for the Tipps. I had set up the vtx Power to 1W. Also, I would buy myself better fpv goggles, but I dont no wich one, I think eachine ev800d is for the price and range good. Maybe I bought a better one like a fatshark or a eachine ev 300 that you use. I am a little bit confused, which I should buy, I don't want to give money out for a goggle with bad quality. (I will not fly long-range. I only would have a good video for the short - and mid range range).
@theroaduntraveled88752 ай бұрын
I think the 800D is pretty good quality from everything I ve read, only reason I did not go with that or a similar box type goggle is I am very far sighted and needed something with adjustable eye pieces. Honestly I also got my current goggles on a big sale for around $250, if they had been much more I probably just would have gone with a DJI digital setup since its so much better in clarity. One other thing I always use this as one of my two antennas, its directional but I can tell definitely gets me more range www.banggood.com/Pagoda-Triple-Feed-Patch-1-5_8GHz-8dBi-60mm-FPV-Antenna-for-Fatshark-DJI-Eachine-FPV-Goggles-p-2004977.html?gmcCountry=US¤cy=USD&cur_warehouse=CN&createTmp=1&ID=6309317&ad_id={{ad.id}}&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwo6GyBhBwEiwAzQTmcya_ABt-poBbdZZmewlR2goWQgzJFl-M7uItVGU0VVSVmbc0Y9PoNBoC-VcQAvD_BwE

Heres another box goggle you may want to check out. I tried one of these before realizing my eyesight wouldnt work on it and returning but it seemed very well put together and a crisp clear screen. www.getfpv.com/emax-transporter-2-5-8ghz-fpv-goggles.html

How is the gps performance
@theroaduntraveled88752 ай бұрын
Its worked as intended everytime I ve lost signal with my weaker TX and anytime I ve triggered it. It definitely doesnt return nice and smooth the way a DJI or something like that does, more jerky and halting but from what I understand thats pretty common on any FPV quad

@theroaduntraveled88752 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for stopping by, for control range I ve found using my boxer radio it has more range than my biggest battery is capable of lasting for, I ve found this to be the case for most ELRS I ve used so far. On full power the video range is pretty good though definitely not as powerful ( this is the 5.8 analog model), I would imagine with good line of sight and antennas you could easily push it a couple miles though. Heres my most recent flight with it using my go pro, even going under and to the bottom of the bridge I never had much video breakup.. and this is a HUGE bridge. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGTRZqJ-lsuib7M
