I’d say it depends on the golfer your caddying whether or not you walk ahead or not. If you have a player who likes to chat then walking in front of him the whole time won’t be as enjoyable whereas if you have someone that’s more reserved then walking in front and getting the yardages ready is the better option. I see pros walking with their caddies all the time on tour

@13:29- 13:50... *NO, for the sake of pace of play and other reasons, the **_player_** has divet replacement responsibility , this isn't T V. However there would be a hybrid type exception in the event of a single looper situation where a lot of times the caddie typically just grabs divet and tosses back to player for replacement as it is the caddies responsibility to **_always_** stay ahead of the player/group.* *EDIT: Bold*
