i done this 3 times and after i shower i wait a bit for me to came back to reality and the staff at float boston (the place i go to) usally greet you when your session is over and it felt real nice and durring my float i saw a faint grey light and faces of people i never knew as i exit my pod i was slowly opening the door and my eye took time to adjust to the light and i felt very mellow

Just had my first float. I was nervous. All the info they give you at first is kind of intimidating but if you just relax and commit to doing it correctly, it can be incredibly easy and extremely relaxing. It was for me. 👍

Yeahhh but bathtubs are usually too small and you need INSANE amounts of salt to float properly. It’s would still be expensive

@@kylie9687 it's possible since sensory deprivation was used as a method of torture to induce psychosis in people. However, I wouldn't worry too much about it since you'll be in a more relaxed environment. Plus you can get out of the tank at any time.

I was expecting an explanation of what it's like... not how to get in and out of the pod, I'm sure they tell you that when you go there.
@BabyBunch3 жыл бұрын
Basically the first time you go it’s odd. You won’t be comfortable, you will turn the lights off and on, you have to basically give in to yourself. Once you do when your floating you will feel like your floating on air. You will be so relaxed you will be out into nothing. I didn’t see or feel anything. I did hear when the music came back on so I know I wasn’t completely out of it. Some people can actually see things, I however was out. No thoughts NOTHING. Just pure calm darkness
