I have loved tortoise shell since the '90s. I still have some of my tortoise shell rings that I got from Banana Republic and also my Gucci shades too. I have always loved tortoise shell especially for the summer. It's so rich looking! These finds are fabulous. You have a great eye and I love how you don't shy away from Target. I enjoyed video so much! Thank yo again.

No doubt going to the in-store Dior counter is best. I haven't had any issues with ordering my shade of foundation or concealer. Dior gets medium deep spot on. Lucky you, your order came with a bag. I didn't get that option with my recent order.🙃😉

Just realised I have the very same pukka calendar hanging on my pantry door! Some of the teas are a bit weird, but it’s a good way to try all the varieties before commiting to the cost of a full box. I think they make a lovely gift.

My mother's dressing table was a place of magic. I knew her entire timeline when getting ready for 'dinner dances' or other events simply by each 'chapter' in her routine having olfactory accompaniment: The raspy, acrid stench of Elnett hairspray that would soon fill the hallway signified that she was at the final part of her dressing routine, a few minutes away from coming to ask me to help her fasten the awkward little clasps on her jewellery, not wanting to chip her glossy almond shaped nails, knowing my unkempt but dextrous tomboy kid's hands would do a far more economical job of it. When she and my father returned home at 1am, they brought with them a fantastic melange of unfamiliar, exciting fragrances which I could smell, even lying in bed and listening to their discreet arrival home; a crowd of little stowaways clinging to them from head to toe (like fragrant little Thetans🤣), all collected by them incidentally through some truly magical process whilst they did their rounds socialising on their glamorous evening out. I would be lying in bed, waiting for the front door to clatter and clunk open and when it did , my sensitive nose would pick up all these 'other people/other 'thing' smells' filling the house; just these unidentifiable molecular compounds clinging to my parents but rapidly transferring to the walls, air and carpets (fading by morning). It was the most glamorous, oddly comforting phenomenon. Smells cling to every single thing I have in my memory. Some people are savants when it comes to music-- their neurology and personalities are tuned into musicality of ever imaginable type. Some others are numbers people, mechanical people, puzzle people, writers, photographers and so forth. "Fragrance people" are born, not made. You either get what we all rhapsodise about here in frag comm, how we experience the world at large through a hyper developed sense of smell and certain neural pathways being continually congested with traffic and stimuli to process in a very particular way, or...you don't. People like me talking about THEIR lives 'lived through scent' are endlessly fascinating to me. Thank you for contributing to YT frag comm via your channel. To my fellow fragrance lovers: I find you all marvellous. 🤓👃💖

I thought this video was fun, relaxing ant that color is exciting! I wanted this color last summer and didn't take advantage of it when I had opportunity. I purchased one two weeks ago while in D.C. in a beautiful Sage green at TJMaxx, I also have a beautiful light sky blue from Nordstrom Rack last summer that I plan on wearing as soon as it starts to feel like actual Spring here in NY. I must get the coin purse! I plan to use for my earbuds. I love how they now have two pockets!
