I had a similar issue in my 2015 Optimal Hybrid, I went to a junk yard (Pull A Part) and got the sensor for $20. The weird thing is that this sensor only comes in Hybrid Optimas.

j The Module could be bad. Most likely need to replace the Module. You can buy a used one on www.eBay.com or send your Module for repair at www.myairbags.com Here is video kzbin.info/www/bejne/roWYpZyKZ6Zqbtk

It just happened to Kia optima hybird and they want to charge us almost 3,000 to replace the whole seat.

Very nice of the dealer guy to leave it in there on purpose so that you can fix it and save you $1000.00 + taxes and hidden fees...

Because i didn’t and the light keep on but later went off
