Hello. I am learning Japanese because of Gawr Gura. :) I want to understand the Japanese Hololive members. Don't worry if you sound weird in English. It can't be helped. It's no problem. There are a lot of foreigners living in America. We are pretty used to it.
@FylphyEnglish4 ай бұрын
That's so cool! Gura inspired you to learn Japanese! ☺️ I am also learning Japanese. If you'd like, join the channel discord and practice Japanese there, there is me and one other Japanese member currently but hopefully more people will join soon!

Indeed,it is very difficult to recognize the order of the adjectives. I think the English by Gura is rather easy to listen to.
@Jordan-Ramses4 ай бұрын
@shomasuda4675 I think the order of the adjectives is not important. I think it's a complete waste of time and effort to study them. It's just something you'll pick up naturally as you learn the language. If you make a mistake it will not really matter. I don't know. Maybe that is important in Japan? Maybe Japanese people care? As a native English speaker I don't care. I can tell when someone is a non native speaker in 2 seconds anyways. Most native English speakers are impressed by anyone who knows a second language at all. And we think accents are cool. We don't judge people harshly for using improper English. I only see foreigners do that. One foreigner with bad English making fun of another foreigner with bad English. I hear it's the same way in Japan. All the kaigai Nikki making fun of each other for being bad at Japanese. But Japanese people don't care.

@@Jordan-RamsesYeah,I agree with you. First of all,I think it's luck of respect to make fool of a person studying a language and makes a mistake. Since you(not only means yourself but everyone) are not native,it's natural to make mistake or use a language unnaturaly to some extent. I also have been studying English since this year,so make mistakes. I think the order of adjectives becomes important if you want the level of natives. By the way,Gura's Japanese is so good. She pronounces very naturally.
@Jordan-Ramses4 ай бұрын
@shomasuda4675 yeah, everyone makes mistakes in a second language. I feel bad for Japanese people learning English. Because Japanese can't pronounce English so it makes it seem like they are much worse than they really are. It's just English sounds that Japanese doesn't have. It's so hard to learn new sounds as an adult.
