One reason why I got the LEGO ICONS DUNE model is of course because I saw the 2021 film adaptation of Dune. I also think the implementation of what the designer at LEGO has delivered is great. Yes, the #legoiconsduneatreidesroyalornithopter is really a great model, it's really fun to build. Even if it's a hidden LEGO Technic model! In my opinion, it’s already the best LEGO model of 2024! I'm curious to see what part 2 of Dune will be like? The first one was already good!

my main problem with LEGO is the price. The quality of the pieces has increased and the building techniques have improved a lot, but since 2-3 years ago the number of pieces in a set is shrinking while its price goes up :(

my main problem with lego is that it is very overpriced, especially nowadays. I know plastic molding doesn't cost that much money to do, especially en masse like lego does, which means they buy material in bulk which is much cheaper than normal. another problem i have is just how limited the pick-a-brick section is at lego stores i've been to. I'm not asking for every single piece ever made and in every color (though that would be amazing) but we need a wider selection. plus, minifigure-specific pick-a-brick would be absolutely amazing. btw i live in michigan, if anyone is wondering.

My problem here in Mexico is that lego is extra expensive. right now our currency exchange is low against the USD, however, lego keeps making the price higher. For example, the Polaroid camera is 80 USD, but here in Mexico, with our current price exchange, that set is almost 118USD. The only way to get the real price is trought Amazon, but some sets are not available
