I always thought of Megatron being type of villain to believe that they are doing good. Which would make them a more terrifying villain.

What began as a protest to Cybertron's corrupt government and wanting equality for everyone, but that immediately changed when the Senate used deadly force in response. Like, did they not expect resistance after killing a few of them? Retaliation was inevitable. The war was basically the Autobots, lead by the corrupt government, trying to put an upstart minor (Megatron) back in his place. Key word trying.

I like how Megatron’s motive are understandable, but it’s his actions that are too extreme.

@@0MNIKATIn the comics it’s more understandable. In the end he caused the death of billions but in the parallels universe it might’ve been worse. And Transformers One showed such a good job of d16’s path to Megatron.
