Agree overall. Invaders attacked up to Madurai temples. Srirangam faced horrors where they had to build make shift wall to protect the moolavar sannidhi. More than 10000 people died to delay to getting to that. Another tens of lakhs of people have been killed. The utsava Murthy was carried around towards southern part of TN, to AP and to Satyagala ( in Karnataka ) and only made back after 40-45 years. If this is what Srirangam faced and North and middle South million times worse.
