I love this tempo! 😍 Grolnick's classic become a dark, introspective blues , grooving and swinging! Not taking anything away from the Grolnick or Brecker versions...they're mind blowing!

Ich versteh bis heut ned warum der harri ned afoch bei der Skala bleibt und immer seine impros ins unermessliche um nicht unerträgliche zu ziehen. Oft ist weniger mehr, so auch hier. I denk ma, na schau endlich mal und des erste seit ………….. immer, das er so spielt das man ihm gerne zuhört und nicht überfordert wird von viel zu komplexen Variationen der verwendeten Skala und dann … das ganz gewohnte Harri Stojka spiel. Na no na ned das er spielen kann, vom alten matyi bis heute und dem Diknu hört man das da Kunst vom können kommt aber ein Picasso ist auch zb bei seinem gewohntem Farbbild geblieben. Weshalb wohl? Zuviel ist Zuviel, fdas ist relativ einfach. Schade drum aber eine echt schöne klampf’n
