**Spoilers** A year later. Hopefully people can see why Sunbeam joining Thunderclan was for the best. She’s genuinely HAPPY now and feels loved and appreciated. The writers made sure we knew Sunbeam is doing this for HER not Nightheart. The fact that he was gone for her trials and her ceremony yet she still completed and did an amazing job during the whole process. She made friends and stood up for herself without Nightheart. As much as they love each other Sunbeams storyline does not revolve around being his mate and vice versa. Nightheart and Sunbeam have the best relationship in Warrior cats and I will stand and fight on this hill lol. After he failed his last test on purpose he told her the truth, apologized and let her decide what to do. He didn’t try to pressure or beg her to see it his way, it was Sunbeams decision to forgive him or not. He also explained to Frostpaw how he made the hasty decision to join SC and even though Sunbeam did technically agree he does say she didn’t realize he meant to join her so soon and that was addressed between them. When Sunbeam caught Nightheart spying on SC he told her the complete truth and did NOT try to use her to get information. And before she joined TC he also told her they might end up fighting against SC, he wanted her to know the truth before making such a big decision instead of being selfish and keeping it from her so she’ll stay with him. The whole thing with Berryheart has been very interesting. From the start Nightheart tells her he will stand by her no matter what decision she makes and he doesn’t complain or bad mouth her mother even when she deserves it. Sunbeam is able to process her feelings without the opinions of others pushing her one way or another. Now that they are both in TC they are all lovey dovey which is very cute but they still have separate storylines going on. Best and healthiest relationship. Mistakes were made but they were addressed so the good and open communication ❤️❤️

If it isn’t clear by my pfp, I am very spiritually connect to stags, especially white stags. I am also agnostic, but still extremely spiritual. I believe that there is always life after death in some way. After my dad’s death back in 2019, we had a sudden influx of birds appearing around our house. Me and my mom had times where birds landed directly next to us while we were on the porch. We’ve had the biggest ravens you’ve ever seen visit our yard everyday. To us, it felt like it was my dad visiting. Our calla lilies (which we call funeral lilies) also bloomed in huge amounts suddenly. Sprouting several flowers rather than just one. Our Mexican heathers reached huge sizes, bringing tons of insects and small critters (which I adore and always welcome). This book just felt like it was made for me. Everything was just relatable. Ivy’s mourning especially, I was in mourning for nearly 2 years. But I was able to accept it, much like I have done for all the pets that we have lost. We started celebrating Dia de los Muertos and adding every picture we had of my dad and of our past pets to celebrate the time we had with them, and to celebrate them now after they’re gone.
