I have only been saying Nurkic is not an NBA starting level Center since they traded for him, nice to see the Suns finally catch up with the pretty obvious, in my opinion. But this is not going to magically transform the Suns into a contender, they need to get some more guys on the bench who can hoop.

Honestly Geek, I do not think it is an issue of getting a player to help. This is a mindset and culture issue. There is something wrong "inside" the Suns organization that is causing the Suns to not have any passion or a winning attitude. I cannot say what it is. But it seemed to start in that Dallas series three years ago. From there, the Suns just have gone through serious malaise issues where they don't have the care for their fans to give us a winning culture. Even the Lakers are better than us with that, even though they are also disfunctional. But they at least fight. I am not sure why this Suns culture could go through three coaches and some very good players and not figure it out. It isn't fair to our new owner, nor is it to us fans. But, GOOD SHOW nontheless. You at least keep me interested in this team. Thanks.

I also really liked the thought of Bradley Beal heading up the secondary unit because he’d be free to take all the scoring opportunities rather than sharing opportunities with Book and KD. NOT that he’s not an amazing player, I just think that sharing offensive opportunities has limited him.

No one would want Beal's contract and he has a no trade clause, so the only logical thing to do if you want Butler is to trade KD and ask for some picks from Miami, but i wouldnt do that because even though Jimmy is really good and he's a dog, he's old and has always been a drama queen

I think we need to stop pretending that Ishbia is some godsend of an NBA owner. He's gotten an extremely long leash by virtue of not being Sarver and spending in a way that Sarver was never willing to do. He's definitely gone the extra mile to win over the casual fans with all that. But he's like, "Hey, I'm a Billionaire, and I played for Michigan State, so naturally I know how to put together an NBA roster!" and too many of us were all too willing to buy into it. And now the contending Suns we once knew are effectively destroyed. It's gonna take a miracle to keep Booker in Phoenix, and that's gonna take more than $2 hot dogs to keep the fans on your side when that happens.
