@@babaali4410 Hardly a TROLL, my frightened little cowardice friend. Not only have a hung out with Yngwie, but have been a fan of his since I bought his first ever album with Steeler in 1983. Where were you in 1983? Yngwie now is a buffoonish clown, has become the 'fat Elvis' of guitarists, and has wasted decades of potential.

The cavernous concrete hall wasn't benefitting from the hilarious vocal delay Yngwie's FOH drenched the mix in and even left unmuted during stage banter - not to mention the totally inaudible keyboards. A true Spinal Tap moment. Yngwie's playing and performance was top notch, however.

Nobody's gonna take his car He's gonna race it to the ground... He's THE Highway Star! Even his acting on stage reminds me of Ritchie B. live in Kansas w. JLT. The synth wasn't heard in the audience for most of the gig despite the guy playing his ass off, the guitar/synth battle at end of Smoke was hilarious when you could not heard any keyboard, almost like StSanders style. Correspondingly most 80s songs also sounded really strange without the synth... I heard from someone in the know the sound guy was instructed to "not touch anything!"

There was no FOH mixing as I saw it except for monitor engineer. Horror decision especially for that kind of echoing venue.
@froloffanton15 күн бұрын
@@VilleKuitunen6 There was a FOH engineer working with a concentrated face, he just made horribly bizarre choices with everything from instrument levels to vocal delay. Perhaps Maestro wishes his sound to be just so.

@@froloffanton LOL! He is a legend with a 4o plus year career I think Yngwie Malmsteen who is still doing Sold Out shows knows what to do.

@@Remmst9-tc7ms I’m an diehard Ynwgie fan and I love that he’s doing well even in 2024 but as a FOH audio engineer myself, I can’t find one single argument for muting the keyboards and leaving a constant ~350ms delay on the vocals, even during stage banter. I couldn’t make out a single word of what he was saying from any point in the audience.
