They're alright, but they don't bring it like the lineup who did SS of the Mountain -- THEY were awesome (all of them).

The only "new" bluegrass band I've really appreciated in years and years. Maybe a little less intrusive bass, but they're really good. Even the (1 only, though)) amplified instrument seems permissible with these guys. The vocalist is quite different from Carter Stanley (the greatest all-time in my view) but is the only other who to me seems distinctive enough to be in the ballpark, especially on the contemporary side. And the fiddler, the banjo player and the mandolin player -- they're all good. Even unto the fellow who sang the last verse on "Sunny Side of the Mountain" he's a naturally gifted Bluegrass singer, too. Congratulations to all these fellas.
