well the riff happened when Melody (in a interview) said something snarky about The Warning & all hell broke loose. So much that Melody (after like 4 months) had explain that she was joking. I think the big difference is Liliac's father, The Warning don't have their parents involved in their music all though they are part of The Warning team

We picked a Tuesday because: Monday everyone is catching up for the weekend Tuesday nothing happens Wednesday nothing happens but we're all busy at rehearsals Thursday and Friday are full of majors with huge budgets so there is no point trying to run head to head with them. We essentially get an unopposed runout and people are more likely to stream it whilst they're at work mid week.

Nobody does Dio better than Melody. The cover of Holy Diver is still my Favorite cover. That was also my first time seeing them live in New Bedford MA. Back in 2019. This is where they did the cover in front of that old church.

Interesting views particularly on the solo. They put the solo in because solos had become “mainstream” again following the grunge era of no solos (no one mention St Anger)… well that’s what Mick Thomson said in an interview once, possibly a Total Guitar interview.

Best of luck! I'll definitely be following your project and I hope and expect to help out in some way (once I figure everything out). Meanwhile, is there a way to sponsor a single video or song for you to discuss on a one off basis? I have a few in mind that I would be interested to hear all of your thoughts on. Thanks and good luck! I've very much enjoyed everything you've done so far. :)

Some friendly constructive criticism, maybe actual listen to the track as a group without talking through the entirety of the song. Also the guy mentioned numerous times that he wasn't a big fan of Megadeth which is cool however your audience maybe and so having an open mind to the songs you present and giving them a chance would be a better idea. Rather than going on a rant about how you're turned off by metal when the bands were on drugs, because there's a lot of great metal where the musicians were on drugs. If thats the case then no Ozzy, no Pantera and soooo many more. Best of luck to you guys and your channel, I appreciate quality Metal content!

@adkrockandmetal
@adkrockandmetal 10 күн бұрын
So we have just filmed new content today and we have taken the feedback on board, the new video will drop in a couple of days, and we hope you will give feedback on it. The reason we are not a reaction channel is that reaction channels are done with a certain amount of acting towards the camera to ensure a postive reaction and growth of hte channel. Some reaction channels are completely honest and they dont have alot of views, pretty much how we set up at the start. We dont feel comfortable being in the reactor group. We are not reviewers as the go into alot more background and technical detail, we might do that for album reviews but not videos. We are a discussion channel as we share our personal thoughts about a video that we have already seen with noted down thoughts. Our overall goal is to help grass roots bands get more exposure however we need to cover more mainstream bands to ensure we can do so. We also interview alot of artists, we put on live events, we have a radio station launching soon, we film music videos and we discuss events in the music scene. The video discussions are a way for us to have consistant content and share our thoughts about the bands and songs.

I'll defend Kirk's right to want more complex guitar riffs from Dany. I"m a Warning fan and am fine with Dany doing the riffs that The Warning feels fit the song (as Dave described it), but the 'right' amount of complexity is a matter of opinion and Kirk is entitled to his.

Pronunciation and meaning of “Bucchigiri Tokyo”. Pronounced BUTTI-GIRI in Romanized Japanese. It means “to win by a wide margin in a race.” Collectively, it means “to win by a wide margin in Tokyo.” Or, “Won by a wide margin in Tokyo.” “I will win by a wide margin in Tokyo.” In Japanese, the meaning of this word changes depending on the strength of the word when it is said, and on the content of the words that come before and after it. By listening to all the lyrics of the song, you will be able to imagine the meaning.

Is there an un-written rule somewhere, that says one HAS to dress certain ways...so that SOME people will know what Genre is being played? That, and what rules govern what Instruments one is "allowed" to play? Deep Purple is not allowed to have a keyboard? Is one supposed to SCREAM every word in a song, and hope someone understands the words? BTW: Yes, they are playing this LIVE on stage....along with 3 other unreleased songs.....Maybe go and watch Rock Fest 2024...."Anxiety kills the Beautiful" which is an ORIGINAL, Unreleased song...Sorry, they do not used Auto-tune, and never have...as it tends to sound very FAKE.

@@ket0_t0ne39 no unwritten rules. Alot of what we discuss is around what are the so called standard bearers. It's always good to try to be different from other bands and be unique, the challenge is that it's always going to be harder to break into a scene. Although you have the chance to spearhead a new scene. We don't try to judge but ask questions from different view points rather than just say something is awesome or awful.

When and if they ever decide to write their own music again without "help" it will be worth analyzing it. In the meantime, it's just depressing listening to other peoples' uninspired ideas of what they should be doing. It may as well be written by AI, and it sounds like it. The video is clever, but that's kind of not the point.

Sure, they have songs easy to execute, but Are they easy to perform? Are they easy to compose or write? it is always impressive to hear a complex riff but if it doesn't work for the song, it is still impressive but it will be as watching a trapeze artist with a chair on the trapeze or Michael Angelo Batio executing a double guitar solo, impressive but it doesn't stuck with me or make me feel something.

Honestly a super common issue for many new songs i listen to in metal, many parts often feel disconnected or muddy. Sometimes for muddyness you can listen enough times so can more accurately grasp what they're trying to do but it feels like an overwhelming mess until you can isolate a part of it to focus on. Disconnected is unsavable though

Their nearly nonstop touring over the past 3 years meant they really didn’t have time to sit down and write new songs using the process they did in the past. They have said they literally had 1 day to write each new song, with the help of a couple of outside writers, and then record them on brief breaks in Monterrey. By contrast, they spent 3 months during the pandemic in the studio with David Bendeth refining and recording the Error album, whose songs had mostly been written even before going into the studio. I think we would all like to see them have enough time to go back to writing their songs on their own, but they are also trying to catch that growing wave of popularity, which is important as well. KMF may not appeal to everyone, but as far as I’m concerned, they still haven’t written a bad song in nearly 60 originals.
@mikeg.4211

Allowing things to get to a point where they had one day to write each song was not well constructed good planning, then.
