The movie was great. They both did a great job. I think they both deserve an Oscar and many other awards. I will definitely be watching this beautiful movie again.

I am a Jamaican. I haven't seen the film as yet, but just looking at the trailer, I'm thoroughly impressed with Kingsley and Lashawna and what I've seen so far. They truly capture the essence of the characters they played. This, to me, reflects respect for the character they portrayed. Nuff Respect Kingsely and Lashawna.

I just loved this movie and just loved bob and his music ,and these two great people deserve a Oscar and everyone's respect for how they brought bob and Rita to life for us ,she is beautiful he is handsome so I think we are going to see a lot more of bothe these lovely people in future ,amazing acting ,THANK YOU BOTHE for bringing bob to life again and his great music ,amazing👏👏👏🙏❤️💚🇮🇪🤗

Stop using 'black love' to sell movies/products to black people. Bob treated Rita horribly once the fame started coming in...they were married on paper that is it. Once he was rich and famous all of the children were with white or white passing women. Great musician/artist but let's stop with the rest.

I am absolutely in love with Lashana Lynch, because My God is she so talented and the world is just getting an inkling of her incredible talent. From her role in Captain Marvel to her soon to be Nova Character debut in the X-Men Franchise to her role as the first female 007 to Woman King to this film, her range from playing Action Roles to Dramatic Roles is unlimited.

Ive been a fan of Bob Marley for 35 years and was skeptical at first but gave the movie a chance. I came to the conclusion that nobody can ever play Bob , although this guy done well. It should have been a full movie about young Bob with the guy who played him in the early Wailers years.

The movie is suppose to be about one love, Marley himself says he don’t deh pon the black man side nor the white man side but the side of god, the side of the one who made him come from both black and white. So sitting here and then saying it’s about black love and black this than you are all missing the point, it’s one love it’s love it’s not about color holy shit I can’t believe this has to be said, do none of you understand this????

As is the case with any and every movie made both past and present, there'll be that which the creators intend and set out to depict in their project, and there's also that which the audiences interpret. So Bob's worldview is one thing, but not the only thing - people watching will always impose their own worldviews on that which they see. _Always._ Therefore the comment was valid simply because it's what someone felt after watching it, it's what they got from it.

Yes the acting!! There was so much that was unsaid that we just felt, the actors conveyed the message without speaking in many of scenes. I knew Rita was hurting without her saying anything. They conveyed a deep love for each other without much romance in the scenes, that’s how we the audience knew there were other women. It was just great I think they both deserve Oscar’s I want to see it again and again
