The Chinese characters in the house is there because the original Vietnamese language is written with Chinese characters. It is the French colonialist who changed it to the French alphabet and system of pronunciation. Historically, the Vietnamese language was originally a southern Chinese dialect akin to Cantonese and the Hainan dialect.

Ok a little confusion here. The video was uploaded in 2022 but the title says "Japan Airport arrival 2023" ? I will be flying out of USA and have a transit in NRT. What this MYSOS app is used for? Is it a requirement for transit passenger too? TIA

Hey there thanks for watching, the video was uploaded at the end of 2022 correct but the measures are valid for 2023 as the measures changed in October 11 2022. If you do not fly from China there are no restrictions. You don’t need the app really it’s just to speed things up. You can just take you proof of vaccination they will check that before your passport. Hope that helps

I did it in 2012 and the scenery is spectacular, especially at Berg Lake. I think the glacier was bigger back then. I do recall that there were a lot of people at Berg Lake. I did not find the hike that difficult. I believe we spent one or two nights up there. Nice video of your trip.

Thanks for watching, yes glaciers in the rockies have been receding quite a bit you can see it especially at the Columbia Icefields as it is marked.

Wow this incredible. I hiked this same trail and camped on the Berg Lake beach with a friend of mine in the late 1970’s. That wooden shelter wasn’t there in those days. I remember the suspension bridge and Emperor Falls. We had fantastic weather with a clear view of Robison right to the summit. Wonderful trip and video.
