These people must have did a rain dance and washed away their COPPER-COLORED skin. These are not the indigenous people from America, for the indigenous people are a SWARTHY people. For you have flooded my eyes with 5 dollar Indians whom are not of this land.

Boozhoo. Kurt nidizhinikaaz. I assume ni-doodem baakaakwenh. Gaawiin ni-indigoosii. Shawani bsin mitig ndoonjibaa. Forgive me if any of that is wrong, I’ve been studying Anishinaabemowin since September and am going off what I have learned thus far to the best of my ability so please feel free to help me if any fluent speakers are present! I’m actually a non native (waabshki nini 😂) that’s aiming to help restore the language from endangerment. It’s truly music to my ears and I genuinely hope to one day be more fluent. Aiming to get over to Walpole soon and maybe see if I can help them there in the community and meet more fluent speakers as well. I don’t have many options where I am sadly to meet many natives or be a part of a community. Unfortunately colonization really messed a lot of things up. Hopefully we can undo some of that by moving forward together on the red road. I recently heard of oshkibimaadizoog, I can’t get it out of my head and am curious if any of the fluent speakers/elders who may come across this could help shed light on it for me. Needless to say, loved this video and will continue my efforts as best as I can. Gichi miigwetch! Baamaapii miinwaa kaawaabmin! 🙂

You use a lot of names that are very common names here in CANADA on your Res . Most People in the US very little knowledge about Canada. When we were just kids we learned all about US history in school. And Native history as well. I live between two large Reservations. And I enjoy learning about Native ways. I have noticed that a lot of young teenagers have a negative attitude toward white people. But the older Native people are super nice. And much smarter with common sense.
