I think the end valves were visible because when the antenna was poorly coupled, the plates on those valves turned red.

Prima. Toll wäre es auch mal zu sehen, wie ihr die Sendung vorbereitet. Also den Hörer mal live hinter die Kulissen blicken läßt, daß sich die Moderatoren und alle Mitwirkenden mal kurz persönlich vorstellen. Viele Grüße, Horst

Gisteravond, zondagavond 28 april 2024, weer lekker zitten luisteren naar de muziek van Bluebird Radio op mijn Sony ICF 7601 analoge portable radio hier in Breda NB, vlak bij de Belgische grens. Het signaal is merendeels prima; de rode signaal led brandt meestal. Soms zakt het signaal even weg, maar zoals ik al zei is het prima te beluisteren. De radio staat dan op de vensterbank voor het raam in de woonkamer omdat ik dan de minste last heb van al die elektronische storing van tegenwoordig in onze huizen. Dat ging allemaal prima vanuit Noordoost Groningen. Ik hoorde op een iets lagere frequentie nog een andere am piraat maar ik heb de naam van dat station niet gehoord. Beide stations waren hier goed te ontvangen en stopten hun uitzendingen om ongeveer half 12 die avond.

Some CW in the background! Love Radio Delta and old tube radios. One memory is when as a young teen, in the early 70s, I was sick and in bed, listening to Radio North Sea International on 6205 kHz on a little DUX tube radio!
