Having lupus and a kidney transplant involves taking major anti rejection drugs, including large amounts of steroids that cause you to retain fluid and look puffy. Ask me how I know cause you've got me so pissed. My best friend has a brain tumor and my father had a heart transplant, both on and off of heavy doses of steroids.
